The Rejected Shadow

WAR

Alexis was in the dining room eating her dinner along with the others when the siren sounded,
All activities stopped at once, the rogues had crossed the first safety spell...
There were four more,
Within 3 minutes the next siren sounded,
They had crossed the next spell.

Alexis looked at Ethan one last time, trying to memorise his face knowing that she wouldn't come back,
Within the next 5 minutes everybody were in their allotted position, 100 miles away from the pack house at the clearing.
The Council Members and the Enforcers from the council in the front,
followed by the alphas
then Lexi, and the fighters
then all the rest of the enforcers.

Before the rogues crossed the last spell, the members of the Council tried talking to them to back out of this war without any harm to both parties, but none of them were willing to listen,
They crossed the last spell,
and all hell broke loose
The members of the council tried stunning as many rogues as they could, but it wasn't enough,
20 minutes into the war,
Lexi saw that there were more casualties in her side than the rogues,
She then got all the council members to the center and all of them used their powers together,
The rogues were stunned and they used it to their advantage, In the next 5 minutes many of the rogues fell,
Angered by the turn of events, the Rogue King also known as the Demon king, because he had gotten his powers by sacrificing many of the elders that he had caught, to the dark side,
his powers thus were of a different nature,
while the rest of the people with powers had a blue shade to it, his had a blood red shade to it, showing that his powers were acquired by using the blood of innocent,.
He joined the fight and with him were another 200 rogues, and immediately the rest of the Council Members, tried to fight them off, but the Rogue King had his eyes only for the Chosen One,
She was going to die, and he was going to do everything he could to make sure that her death was prolonged and painful.

She knew that her death was going to be by his hands, and fearlessly walked towards him standing proud and looking at the reason for her death in the eye,

Both of them met at the middle of the battlefield.
This fight was only her's and his and he made sure of that,
once they were within fighting distance, he created a circle of Red fire around them, no one could get in, and if any one of them from inside stepped on it, the fire would enter their body and burn them from inside.

Red and blue sparks flew everywhere.... Lexi didn't want to kill anyone, not even him, so used her powers only to hurt him , but he was intent on killing her, and she got burned badly by his powers,.
Knowing that she wasn't putting up a big resistance, she used the last bit of strength she had left, her eyes started to glow a golden color and the air around her started to shimmer, and form patterns around her, he saw what she was doing and did the same. The aura around him glowing in red color,
Both their powers met mid way,
Lexis aura changed to an electric blue and under her the ground was cracking, the wind was blowing at a furious speed and there was fire directed at the demon king,
His aura didn't change but the ground around him to started cracking and fizzing and his Red fire was directed at her,
Both their fires collided
Both of them were equally matched, and both of them were not giving in.

All Around them people were either dying or getting badly hurt,
Alpha Heath was fighting though he was limping, Jace, Andy, Sam, Michelle, Brandon, Hailey, all of them were fighting three rogues each and you could see that they were getting tired out ,
Ethan entire wolf was covered entirely in both his and the blood of many rogues.
Peter had just killed off two rogues and was just about to turn around when another rogue clawed at his side making him howl in agony!

Lexi's heart beat fast inside her chest when she heard the howl of her protector,
This fight had to end now!. Or more would die in vain....
Summoning the last of her strength, she directed it's entire force on him. Making him stumble and fall backwards into the fire that he had created
The fire went right through him and completely burnt him, but not before he aimed one burst of fire directly at Lexi's heart.

She gasped in pain and clutched at her heart and her body gave up on her and she fell to the ground

The entire battle field was silent,
The rogues had lost. Some of the Alpha's and the enforcers rounded up the rest of the rogues and led them away

Ethan's heart stopped when he saw Lexi fall to the ground.
Alpha Heath, and the rest of the gang ran upto her.

Ethan reached her first and fell to his knees and turned her around,
There was a huge gash on her head and she wasn't breathing properly, and her hands were cold,
They were loosing her quickly
