New Entry.

Three weeks after the new training schedule had started Alpha Heath had already made allies with 2 other packs and he was getting tired and had just closed his books to go get some shut eye when one of his enforcers mind linked him saying
"Alpha there is a person at our borders asking for entry... He doesn't seem like a rogue... "
He sighed, but still said
"Send him in but have someone escort him inside. " he ordered
"Yes Alpha... " the enforcer replied
10 minutes later a nice looking young man of about 25 years entered his office and stood at the entrance and showed his neck as submission to the Alpha
"Good afternoon Alpha." He said
"Good afternoon. Who are you and Why were you at our borders?." He asked hiding his exhaustion behind the cold and hard exterior of an alpha
"My name is Ethan ,i am from the Red Wood pack, I have come looking for a pack that will be willing to take me... " he said
"Were you removed from your pack for some reason?" The Alpha questioned because taking a person who was thrown out from their pack could mean trouble for his pack
"No, I left of my own free will.. " Ethan said reassuring the Alpha
"You can look into my mind of you want to..." He offered trying to show the alpha that he meant no harm to the pack
"What position were you in your old pack?" He asked Ethan
"I was an enforcer. " he replied
"You will have to earn your keep here. " he said sternly
"Sure... No problem. I can help with the fighters.. " Ethan replied without hesitation.
"All right.
Welcome to the Shining Moon Pack Ethan, " The Alpha said shaking his hand
"Thank you Alpha ... " he started but cut off since he didn't know his alphas name
"Heath. My name is Heath, we will introduce you to the pack this evening. Around sixish?" He asked Ethan
"Sure I'll be here. " he replied
"OK here's your room number I'll see you by 6 then., " Alpha Heath said handing him a piece of paper and a document that he would have to fill later.
Ethan had just gotten out of The alphas office and taken two steps forward when he collided with someone.
"Oops sorry... " he said holding the pretty girl in his arms so that she wouldn't fall to the ground.
His wolf after years of silence suddenly started whimpering in his head giving him a headache, making him block his wolf.
"Sorry!... " she said softly and took a step back and looked at him and said
"I haven't seen you here around before?.... "
"I'm new... " Ethan replied.
"Ohhh OK... Hi I'm Alexis. " Lexi said holding out her hand for him to shake
" I'm Ethan, " he replied shaking her hand
"welcome to the pack," she said smiling
"Thanks.... If you don't mind cam you tell me where this room is?..." He asked..... Getting confused by just looking at the number of floors in the pack house.
"Ohhh room 28 , then we are practically almost neighbours.. I'm in room 26." She said happily knowing that now she wouldn't be alone in her wing any more.
"It's on the first floor turn left and it's the last room on that side.. " she said giving him the directions to get there
OK thanks. " he said
"No problem,
I'll see you later... Bye.. " she said and waved...
By 6:30 all the members of the pack had come to the yard and grew silent when their Alpha stood up. And said
"Welcome everyone. I have called this dinner to introduce to you a new member. Ethan has joined our pack and will be training y'all from tomorrow along with Jace and Caleb. "
He announced making everyone clap or howl in welcome.

By 9:30 everybody had retired for bed and Ethan was just going into his room when he saw Alexis sitting by the window ledge looking outside..
"Hello neighbour" she said when she heard him sit next to her
"Hi, are we the only two people on this side of the floor?" He asked her looking around at the almost empty wing that he was staying in
"Yea.... Because the rest of the members from this side had got their mates and shifted to their pack.... " she replied
He hummed in response
"May I ask you something?" She asked him
"Sure... " he replied wondering what she would ask....
"What is that tattoo just under your collar?" She asked making him stiffen and look out the window, that was one topic about which he was sore about and how did she even know that that marking was there? He assumed that he had always kept it hidden
Sensing the change in the atmosphere between them Alexis made to apologize for her making him uncomfortable
"I'm sorry if I'm prying, you don't have....."
But he cut her off saying
"It shows that I don't have a mate."
He had never told anyone that not even his brother and somehow he had told her! He was confused with his behavior and on top of that his wolf was clawing at him to touch Alexis, just for a minute but he blocked his wolf off again
"I'm soo sorry... It was". She started to apologize but was again cut off when Ethan said that
"It was OK.....
Yawning Alexis got off the ledge and waited till Ethan had got inside and wished him good night and went to her room.....
