travel adventures pt2

so anyway after all the problematic stuff comes the interesting posts so here i am telling little stories of my trip to taiwan !!¡¡

1. awkward encounter w/ strangers

ok so my sister and i were just walking along the road bein all chill and stuff and all of a sudden there's this guy who approaches us going all like "are you guys from taiwan or are you just visiting?" and he's speaking in chinese luckily i can understand him

and his friend or something also approached us and i was like talkin to him like "nah we're visiting" and ffs they wouldn't go away and his friend was like "hEy gurl why do u look so sad" like dude i always look like this

they tried to sell us items and we were like "m8 we have no money" and i even started talking in my native language to signal them to back the frick up man i don't wanna deal with their crap since they didn't wanna leave us alone

so we gave in and we were like "damn dude how much are those and why do you want us to buy them" and they were like "they're for a college project and they'rE vEry affordable!!"

first of all, they don't look like college students and their arms have tattoos and that one guy who asked why i looked sad even had a piercing on the middle of the area his chin and his lip and it was very bizzare i wanted to run away

then i bumped my sister's arm and was like (in filipino) "these guys won't even tell us the price so how will we even buy them if they keep telling us that it's affordable?? hoW much is it¿¿"

we ended up not buying them because we said we gtg to meet up with someone

2. a very unique store

we were walking in the same area as where the two dudes were and a store was just so fricking weird that i couldn't even pass by without taking a peek inside

guEss what they were selling???

penis food im cryin

there's penis shaped ice cream, corn dogs, and i think there was even gelatin

iT WAS SO GROSS AND THEY EVEN HAD DIFFERENT BRANCHES. THE STORE'S SIGN WAS A CARTOON PENIS

(they also had a lot of customers)

3. magical record store

sAme area as the first two stories (yes that area is vv weird and vv amazing at the same time)

so i had a specific record store i was looking for and let me tell you something, it was hard as hell to find and we had to go around the whole area to find it

then we got there and i spent about thirty minutes in there choosing what cds to buy bc i just chose the stuff that weren't available here in my country so like here is the small list of what i got for what price

NT is new taiwan dollar btw idk how much dollars it's equal to but eh

1. crybaby (it was on sale for 379-ish NT)

2. blurryface (by far the most expensive one: 799 NT)

3. blue neighbourhood (380 kinda NT) and it was so funny bc i spent the whole night reading out the chinese lyrics included in the album to my sister and we were guessing which song the lyrics belonged to

4. vessel (340-ish NT)

thEy had a complete collection of all the all time low albums but i didn't have enough money to buy it since my mother only gave us a budget of 2000 NT and my sister still had to buy her kpop stuff and i had to add my own money so that it was enough to pay for the albums

basically those were all the interesting stories to tell

thiS was way too long ok goodbye for now btw im working on a new malum fic and it kinda involves magic and voodoo stuff and all that spooky magician hooha's but im not quite sure if the plot is interesting enough so im still contemplating whether or not i'll publish it
