"What do we do?!" I screamed as I ran over her. I tried to grab her and stop her from violently shaking but Justin grabbed me from behind and pulled me back.
"Yea just take her outside for a minute." Derek told Justin.
Justin grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards the front door. I tried to pull my arm away and go back towards her but he kept pulling me.
"Come on" he said. "Let's go outside. She will be fine with Derek." He continued to pull me out onto his front porch where he had a swinging bench. He sat down and opened his arms for me to come and sit beside him. I did, and nuzzled my head into his neck.
"I......" I started crying and couldn't get my words out.
Justin wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. "It's gonna be okay Kelsey. We just need to get her some help and she will be fine."
I nodded my head in agreement and continued to cry. "What if.......if she doesn't turn out okay? God it's all my fault. I should have looked for her at the party when she went missing. I shouldn't have gotten mad at her. She wouldn't be like this if only I had.."
He cut me off by putting a finger to my lips. "Don't you dare say that! No one could have stopped this, especially you!"
"Yea but if I had just took the time to look.."
Once again he cut me off. This time he did it my reaching down and kissing my lips. "Stop."
As soon as he kissed me, I got this feeling. It felt as if he was my boyfriend and we had been dating for ever. It felt like we had done it a thousand times before and it felt so right. It felt so good. It felt so....perfect.
He pulled back and looked into my eyes. "I'm sorry. I just figured it would help get your mind of off.."
This time I cut him off by reaching up and kissing his lips. They were so pink and soft and all of my thoughts just disappeared.
"Okay she's good." Derek yelled out.
Me and Justin quickly pulled away and looked into each other's eyes. The look he gave me told me that he felt all of those things too.
"Hey can you bring her a glass of water Justin?" Derek called out.
Justin cleared his throat and got up. He walked into the house and I followed him. I walked over to Avery and saw that her eyes were slightly open and she looked like she was about to go back to sleep. I sat down beside here and rubbed her back gently. Just then, Justin walked in with the glass of water.
Avery sat up and grabbed it from him. "Can I have that Aleve now?" she asked.
Taking the pill from Derek, she popped it into her mouth and chased it down with the liquid. She sat the glass down and sat back on the couch. She stared blankly at the floor as she grabbed the blanked from the back of the couch and wrapped it around her.
"Can we talk?" she asked me.
"Sure." I said as I looked at Justin and Derek. I looked over at the door, singling to give us a moment alone. They got up and walked over to the door.
"We will be right outside if you need us." Justin said.
I nodded my head and smiled as he shut the door behind him and Derek. I turned my body towards Avery and grabbed her knee. "Are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital?"
"No I'm fine. Believe it or not, I have got bigger problems on my hands."
"What could be bigger that spazzing out because of some drugs you did? Oh speaking of these drugs, what the hell were you thinking? I know you Avery and you don't do drugs. And where were you? You just disappeared at that party!"
She looked up at me and tears started to fill her eyes. Pretty sure one fell from her eye and ran down her cheek.
"Kelsey, I don't know what happened to me last night."
I looked at her in confusion. "What?!"
"I went to that party last night and left with some stranger. He said that he was going to take me to his house for some more drinks. When we got there I remember taking the drink, and then he.." She stopped for a minute and tried to collect her thoughts. "And then he offered me some drugs. That's all I remember." She looked down at her arms and rubbed the bruises. "and I guess I took them. After that all I remember waking up not knowing where I was. I freaked out and walked outside and somehow found myself at that store and I just called you from there."
"Avery are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital? If you cant remember what happened, how do you know that the drug you took wasn't lethal or something."
"I don't but you know if I go, I'll get in trouble for drinking and using drugs and I cant do that. Im fine now. I promise."
Even though I knew that that was the wrong decision, I let it go. Avery was the type of person that you couldn't change their mind, no matter what the situation was.
"Okay but you are spending the night at my house tonight." I told her.
"Okay." She agreed.
I got up and open the front door, calling Derek and Justin back in. We all three walked back into the living room to sit back down. As soon as I was about to take a seat, Avery stopped me.
"Hey um, do you think we can go ahead and go? I need to stop by my house and get some clothes and I don't want to be out too late." She asked me.
"Umm...sure." I said as I walked back over to the door. She followed behind me and went ahead out the door and out to my car. I turned around to face Justin and Derek and said goodbye.
"Thank you guys so much for the help. I have no idea whats up with her but when I find out I will let you two know. Text me later." I said to both of them.
They nodded their heads and I closed the door behind me. I walked back to my car. I started it up, and proceeded to my house.
"Kelsey I gotta tell you something else." She hesitated.
"What is it?"
"I think....I think I had sex with that guy last night.".......
Okay I know this is a weird ending but it's late and I'm rushed to get this up. Please comment what you thing so far:) I know this story is some what of a mess but I'm trying to make it interesting. Lol. Oh and also tell me if you like it or not? I have another idea for a story and idk if I should even continue this one:/ I dunno.....
