I pulled up at my house and was relieved to find that my parents weren't there. Sometimes they worked from home, and sometimes they went to their office to work. Today they must have been in the office.
Wasting no time, I quickly ran inside and went up to my room to grab some clothes. I needed it to look like I actually went to school, so I found a pair of good jeans and a nice blouse and slipped them on. Checking my hair in the mirror, I quickly walked out of my room, and walked down the stairs.
As soon as I got downstairs, I immediately froze because I heard some people talking towards the kitchen area. I couldn't quite make out the voices, but I could tell that it was two guys. They were mumbling something back and forth and I could vaguely figure out what they were saying.
"So where is she? Are you sure this is even going to work." One guy asked.
"I don't know but we are about to find out." The other one replied.
I stood there, frozen, trying to grasp what was happening. Before I knew it, one of the guys had come out of the kitchen and started walking to where I was. My eyes winded, and I quickly scurried up the stairs.
He saw me, and immediately ran towards me. "Yo Brian here she is."
The name didn't register in my head until the guy flipped me over on the stairs, and I saw Brian's familiar face come from around the corner. He gave me an evil smirk, as he helped his friends pull me down the stairs and walk me over to the couch.
"Let me go! Please!" I begged.
"Just hold her down for a minute Paul." Brian instructed.
Paul did as he was told and held my arms down by my sides while he slowly leaned in and whispered into my ear. "Don't worry, we aren't going to hurt you." He then began to slowly slide his head down my neck, as if he were going to kiss it. At this point, I had lost it, and I decided that trying to run would be my best options
of trying getting away.
I jumped up and ran towards the door but was immediately stopped when Paul pulled my arm and jerked me backwards. Spinning me around, I saw that Brian had a gun in his hand, and had it pointed at my face.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. I could pull the trigger at any time."
"Why are you doing this to me?" I hysterically cried out.
"Sit her back down." He directed Paul.
As I was escorted back to the couch, Brian laid his gun on the table and gave me an intense stare.
"We don't want to hurt you Kelsey. We just need to talk about a few things." He paced the floor back and forth, as Paul held me down even tighter. "As you may know, we need our money and we need it now. I don't know how much these dip shit twins have told you, but their time is up. I am going to get this money one way or another and I think you just might be able to help me."
"How can I help?" I spat as I tried to wiggle out of Paul's tight grip.
"Well im thinking Justin and Derek just need a little...." he paused and walked over to me as he tucked my hair behind my ear. He then leaned down, and moved in close to my face. "a little motivation." He whispered.
I jerked my head away, not wanting him to be so close to me. "Im no use to you. Using me will not get you your money any faster."
"Oh no I disagree with that. I've seen the way they act over you. You are very special to them. I don't really know why, but you are and because of that, you are perfect to use in my plan. As long as you do as you are told, you will be fine. Deal?"
"Deal." I mumbled as I rolled my eyes.
"Good. Now all you have to do is find some way to get those boys to get all my money back in 5 days. If not, I will come after them...and you. Is that clear?"
I nodded my head as I looked down at the floor. The less eye contact I could make with him, the better.
"Great! You can let her go now Paul, I think she has our point."
Paul let go my arms and walked over to the front door. Brian picked up his gun off of the table and stuck it back in his pocket. "Oh and I suggest that you don't mention this little meeting to anyone."
He then walked over to where Paul was, opened the door, and walked out with Paul following in behind him.
As soon as they left, I immediately jumped up, went over to lock the door so they couldn't get back in again, and grabbed my phone. The only notification that I had was a text from Kristen.
Kristen: Where are you?
I looked at the time to find that it was 10 minutes passed the time I was supposed to meet her. I quickly texted back, letting her know that I wouldn't be able to make it.
Me: Kristen im so sorry but I had a huge headache so I drove straight home to take something and I fell asleep. It still hurts really bad so do you think you can just come back to my house and we can talk here?
She replied back pretty quickly.
Kristen: sure thing! Sorry about the headache. Why don't you just go to you room and lay down and we will hang out when you wake up:)
Me: sounds good. Really sorry again. Thanks for understanding! Ily
My head really did hurt, so I went into the kitchen to grab something for it. After I took the pill, I did as she said by going upstairs to lay down. There was so much stress in my life that I just needed to sleep to get my mind off of things for a bit. I knew that these next five days were going to be tough, but I had no idea what I was actually about to get in to.
