"What? Wait stop! I'm confused." I scratched my head and looked up at them.

"Come on and get up. We don't have much time." Derek said as he turned around and started packing again.

"Wait we can't just leave!" I yelled.

"Why not?" Justin questioned.

"Because....well....what about your parents? What are you going to tell them?"

"They just left on a huge business trip. They won't be back for a while."

"But.....I...I just don't-"

"Look.." Justin said, cutting my off by placing his hand on my leg. I immediately stopped talking and shivered as chills took over my whole body. "Brian has been known to hurt some people, and even....kill, so we have to get out of here as fast as possible."

I continued staring into his golden brown eyes until I eventually snapped out of it. "Okay well yall can go. I'm staying here."

"No babe you gotta come too."

As soon as Justin said that, Derek's head shot up and looked over at us. I immediately sat up and cleared my throat.

"Why do I have go on the run?" I asked.

"Because," Derek started to answer. "Brian will be looking for you too. We at least have to leave until we get this thing straightened out." He slightly smiled at me before leaving the room.

I sighed and buried my face into my hands. Justin slid over and placed his arm around me. "It's gonna be okay."

"I honestly don't see how."

"It won't be that bad. We will just take it day by day...together." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. Butterflies started to form in my stomach, and I giggled.

"Okay." I smiled as I rested my forehead against his.

"Justin did you want anything from that hall closet?" Derek yelled as he started to come into the room. Me and Justin quickly pulled back and tried to play it off.

"Umm...nahh I don't think so." Justin replied.

"K." he turned around and exited again.

"We need to tell him." I said, looking over at Justin.

"We will."

"When?"

"Soon."

I nodded my head and sighed again. "I just don't want to lie to him. He deserves to know."

"I know."

"Okay so I have packed enough stuff to last up for a couple of weeks, just in case. Are yall ready?" Derek asked, walking back into the room.

"No wait guys what am I going to tell my parents? What am I going to do about school?" I asked frantically.

"We can call the school and request our work that we will be missing, and as far as your parents go...we can make something up." Derek said.

"Like what? There is no way they will just let me leave like that."

"I don't know but we can come up with something. Now help me load these bags in the car."

I got up off of the bed and grabbed one of the suit cases on the floor. I then followed Justin and Derek out to the garage.

"We can take the SUV." Derek said, unlocking its doors with the key fob.

I opened the backdoor and slung the bag in before climbing in myself. Derek got into the driver's seat and Justin got into the passenger's seat. He then cranked the car and backed out of the driveway.

"Okay so we are going to run by your house real quick so you can tell your parents and then you can get your clothes and stuff packed and we will go." Derek said.

I laughed and looked out of the window. "Yea, if they even let me go."

"They are gonna have to."

"Yea I know but it's gonna be tough."

He continued driving and eventually we arrived at my house.

"So what's the plan?" Justin asked.

"I'm just going to wing it." I said as I opened to door to get out.

"You sure?"

"Umm..yea im sure. I'll think of something." I got out of the car and adjusted my clothes before taking a deep breath and preparing myself for what I was about to go an do.....
