Killian knew they had to stay in that village another day, much to his dismay. "Swan." Killian gently shook Emma's arm to wake her. Emma grumbled softly and opened her eyes. How did she manage to look so beautiful without even trying? Hook looked at her lovingly as she sat up. "Good morning, beautiful." Killian said, making Emma blush furiously. "Please, I probably look half dead." Emma said, Killian sighed and sat on the bed next to Emma. "Have I ever told you a lie, darling? Besides, you look beautiful no matter what."

He brought his arms around her waist and gently pulled her onto his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her head in his neck. "You're just saying that so you don't hurt my feelings." Emma's voice was muffled. Hook sighed again. " If only you could see what I see." He said solemnly.

"Anyway, I have to go out again, but I want you to stay on the ship, just in case more guards spot you. I can't risk losing you." Killian explained as Emma slid back onto the bed so that he could stand. she opened her mouth to protest, but Killian interjected, "I don't want to argue about it, it's for the best. Please, just listen to me." He begged. Emma sighed and nodded. "Alright, I'll stay." She stood up and walked towards him. "Promise?" Killian raised an eyebrow in question. "Promise." Emma assured him. He placed a sweet kiss on her lips. "Good, I'll see you later." Emma smiled and bid him goodbye as he exited the cabin.

He told Mr. Smee to guard the ship again, and make sure no guards come close enough that they might spot his Swan once she came onto the top deck. His Swan. How he loved the fact that she was now his, and he was hers. He smiled at the thought as he made his way to the markets. This was only his second time visiting this town, but he knew of a small jewelers among the many market stalls. Yesterday he spotted some gorgeous Jade earrings that he thought perfectly matched the bracelet he'd bought for Emma back in Eelry. He almost bought them yesterday, but he heard a familiar voice cry for help and he rushed towards the sound before he could pay for them. Today he was back to see if they were still there.

He smiled as he saw them sitting there, sparkling in the morning sun. "Ah, back again I see. Still got your eye on those earrings?" The stall owner said, smiling kindly. Killian nodded and smiled back and picked up the small black box. "How much are they?" He inquired, examining the earrings more closely. "100 gold pieces, sir." Killian nodded and handed her the correct money. "She must be very special." The woman commented. "I'm sorry?" Hook looked startled by her comment. "The girl you're buying guide them for. She must be very special to you."

Killian smiled at the thought of Emma. "Aye, she is." The woman grinned. "Have a nice day, sir." She said kindly. "You too." Killian nodded and made his way back to the ship.

He heard a small whimper echo through the small alley he was walking down. He stopped and looked behind him. He dismissed it as his imagination until he heard it again, this time louder. He approached the direction in which he thought the noise came from and it led to a small cart alone in a smaller alley that was almost hidden from view due to the angle of the entrance. The cart was as tall as Killian and was covered completely by a brown piece of material. "Captain Hook?" He heard a small female voice say. He pulled the material away, revealing a young woman with blonde hair was sat in what appeared to be a cage.

The woman's eyes were sewed shut, and she wore nothing but rags. She brought her hands up and pointed her palms towards Hook. They each had a blue eye set into them. Killian was startled. "What are you? How do you know my name?" He asked.
"I'm a seer. I know a lot of things. Could you get me some water? I haven't had a drink in days." The seer said in a raspy voice. Hook handed his canteen to her. He had filled it with water, not rum today. She drank the contents quickly and sighed in content. "Thankyou." She said. "What's your name?" Hook asked.

"That's not important. What is important is I have a message." Hook looked at her skeptically whilst she elaborated. "You're beloved, Milah, is alive. She's been imprisoned on neverland for over 300 years." Hook looked furious. "That's not possible! She died in my arms." His voice wavered, remembering that dreadful day. By now he was shaking with anger. How do I know you're telling telling the truth."

"I'm a seer, I know a lot. I also know, you will lose the one you love if you go to save her." The seer warned.

"I don't believe you. I need proof!" Hook yelled. "I don't have proof, but how else would I know her name." Killian thought about it and realised she wasn't lying. "Why would you tell me this?"

"Seeing the future is my purpose." She replied simply. Hook stormed off, upset about what he just learnt. Once he reached the ship, Emma came up to greet him. "I missed you." She said, smiling brightly as usual. Her smile dropped when she saw his expression.

"Are you okay?" He didn't respond. "Killian? What's wrong?" She placed a hand on his arm to get his attention. He looked at her and smiled, but Emma could tell it was forced. "Nothing, love. I'm fine." She pulled her in for a hug and clung onto her as though his life depended on it. "We both know that's a lie, now can you please tell me what's going on?" She pulled back to look into his eyes.

"It's nothing, don't worry." He walked towards his cabin, Emma followed closely behind. "I can tell when you're lying to me. I'm just worried about you." She explained, her features etched with concern. "Just leave it, Emma." Hook snapped. She jumped back slightly in surprise. She frowned and guilt filled his expression. "Emma, I'm sorry." She shook her head and walked away. He sighed but left her alone. He should have told her, but he didn't know how.

-------------------------------
He smiled as he watched the pirate and the blonde converse for a while before seeing Hook snap at Emma and her storming off. "Our plan is working, now we just wait for them to show up." He explained as he turned to where Rumple was sat watching a sleeping Milah.

"I'm still not happy with losing her to that pirate." Rumple spat the name as if it were poison. "Yes, but it's worth, trust me."

"Whatever you say, Peter Pan."
