Drix's P.O.V
Great, she's ignoring me.
It's been a week since I arrived here and it's also been a week since I've been trying to talk to her properly. Every time I try to initiate a conversation about us and my plans, palagi nya akong sinosopla at minsan ay mananapak na lang.
I'm watching as she gets ready to leave the cafe. I'm leaning against the door frame and I keep on checking the time. I got here even before she did and I stayed throughout the day. She gave me nothing but a glance as she busy herself with the costumers.
When she finally switched off the lights I heaved a sigh and shot her a bored look.
"What?" she feign innocence.
I looked at her incredulously. "Why are trying to avoid me?"
"Ako? Bakit naman kita iiwasan. Hinayaan nga kita dito buong araw eh."
"Love, please..."
"Love? Sino yun?" she smirked and pushed me out of the door. I let out a sigh and watch as she locks the door and walk away. I grabbed her arm and forced her to look at me.
"Love, I'm sorry. I explained myself. What do you wan--"
"So ganun na lang yun? Apat na taon Drix! Apat na taon! Madami nang nagbago."
I let go of her arm and let her walk away this time.
"Drix?"
"I need your help."
"Wow! Finally?! After all these years? You've been refusing my help---"
"Whatever. Just answer my question." I called my sister to ask some advice but she's piling more problems on my shoulders. She never know when to stop talking. Damn. "She hates me."
"Who? Angel? Of course she does. You broke off your engagement. Hahaha."
"No. I don't give a shit about her and that stupid engagement. I'm talking about Llianne. I don't know why but she hates me."
"Hah! I hope she cuts off your d---"
"I called you to help me, not make fun of me." she ceased laughing but I continued. "I'll figure this out on my own."
"No no no no." she screamed so I distanced my ear from my phone. "Fine, I'll help you" she composed herself for a moment. "You gotta understand Lliane. She never heard from you for 4 years, of course she'll have her doubts."
"But I explained everything to her! I can't get through her!"
"Yes yes. But you see, girls like assurance. Lliane is making sure you love her as much as before."
"I do--"
"How would she know if she never heard from you? In her mind she might be thinking you actually went on with the wedding and such.It's not hard for her to jump in to conclusions like that. You have to reassure her."
I didn't speak for a couple of minutes. I'm shock that she actually helped me and she might be right. "So...what do you suggest?"
