Emily's POV
We walked up her steps.
Ryder lived in a mansion.
Not a lot of people knew that, except her close friends, because she didn't want to be treated differently becuase she was 'rich'.
We rang the doorbell, and Ryder's father opened the door.
"Justin, Emily, come in!" He exclaimed, practically dragging us in.
"Hello Mr. Collins." Justin said. "We're here to see Ryder."
He pointed upstairs and we walked up to her room.
Her door was cracked a bit.
We peeked in, she was at her desk, looking at a bunch of comments, and listening to music.
I knocked on the door and she quickly whipped her head around.
She raised her eyebrows, shut her laptop, and turned back to us.
"What're you guys doing here?"
We walked in, and Justin shut the door, "We need to talk. Well, you guys need to talk."
Justin pointed to me, and he walked out.
I sat on her bed, and looked at her.
"What was up with the whole scene at my house?"
She shrugged her shoulders.
"They're picking on me now."
I looked up, "What?"
She opened up her laptop, and showed me the comments.
"Because I stood up for you, they're bullying me now." She replyed, slightly raising her voice.
"Oh..I'm sorry." I said, my eyes still glued to the screen.
She nodded and slammed her laptop shut.
"I've NEVER been called a slut in my life."
"Well you're just being called it by association." I slightly chuckled, I was trying to lighten up the mood.
She quickly stood up and rubbed her temples then stared me down, "Don't you dare make a joke out of this."
I stood up too, "Are you saying this is my fault?"
She shrugged, "Well maybe if you never would've even dated Travis, I wouldn't be involved."
"Valerie would still hate us! What I did doesn't make a difference!"
She glared at me, "People hate ME becuase of YOU."
She pointed at me.
"Well it's not entirely my fault!"
"You know," she said, "Maybe if you weren't always looking for attention, dating Travis, breaking up with Travis because he doesn't speak to you for TWO DAYS, you wouldn't be getting called names! And you wonder why he never talked to you.."
I stared at her in disbelief, "Are you saying I deserved this?"
She shrugged.
"I don't even know why were friends."
She grinned, "Well lets NOT be friends, so this torture to me will stop."
I ran out of her room.
I ran out of her house.
Justin was yeling my name.
I didn't want to hear it.
I ran all the way home, and onto my laptop.
