Emily's POV
I was walking around the school looking for Danny.
I didn't want to step on the dance floor until we walked in together.
I might actually have a chance with him.
I heard voice starting to rise as I walked around the corner.
"You're sick." Vinny said harshly.
"What's going on here?" I asked sternly, my arms crossed.
"Emmy, baby!" Danny said as he put an arm around me.
"Emily, this guy is using you." Vinny said.
I rolled my eyes, "Goodness Vin, I just wanted a good time tonight. Can't you push your feelings to the side for one night?"
"Excuse me?"
I sighed, "Just because you like me doesn't mean you have to ruin my night."
"Wow," he said, "You're full of yourself."
I crossed my arms again, "How so?"
"You think this is all about you!" He slightly raised his voice. "You think every thing is always about you! First of all, I'm not trying to ruin your night. Even if I was, it would have nothing to do about me liking you. You act like your some sort of princess of royalty. Just because you were hurt over Facebook! You think people need to stand up for you! You act like we have to kiss the ground you walk on, grow up."
I rolled my eyes again, "Then why are you saying he's using me? Do I not deserve to be happy?!"
"Not with this guy."
"You need to grow up and stop being jealous."
Then it was his turn to roll his eyes, "There you go again, thinking everything is always about you. No one is jealous of you Emily!"
He began to walk away when I grabbed his arms, "Where are you going?!"
"Anywhere but here, because I'm obviously ruining your night. Have fun with this douche bag." He glanced at Danny then just stormed off.
Danny hugged me and said I didn't need Vinny.
Did I?
A/N: Sorry it's kind of short, the next one will be longer.
