Vinny's POV

I could not believe her.

Really?

She thinks I said he's using her because I'm 'jealous' and I like her.

Yeah, I do.

But I was telling her because he was.

Because I'm such a good friend.

But not her eyes.

I'm a night ruiner.

I don't even care if that's not a word.

Gosh, where's Madison when you need him?

He could clearly make it all right.

He's like the therapist.

I must've caught Nick and Mikey's attention because they ran up to me right when I was about to walk out the door.

"Dude, what's wrong?!" Mikey almost yelled.

"I'm fucking pissed."

"Well obviously!" Nick yelled.

"I saw Danny tell a girl about trying to avoid Emily and leave, then they kissed, so I confronted him, but then Emily came and-"

"And she didn't believe you?" Mikey cut in.

"How'd you know?"

"I kind of could tell where his story was heading."

"Well anyway, she thought I was lying because I like her and I'm jealous."

"Are you?" Nick asked.

"No! I was just looking out for Emily."

"Maybe you shouldn't of cut in." Mikey muttered.

"What?!'

"It's just the homecoming dance, bro. They aren't dating. Yeah, so he has another girlfriend. It doesn't matter. It's just a homecoming dance, not prom. It wouldn't of mattered." Mikey spoke up.

"Wow." I rolled my eyes, "I knew I shouldn't of told you guys."

"Wait." Nick said pulling my arm, "You're just saying that because we don't agree with you. I bet you would've still told us. So don't even start."

"Start WHAT?" I yelled, "You guys don't understand, Emily really liked him!"

"But why do you care?!" Mikey yelled back.

"Because she's my best friend!"

"She's also a 14 year old girl, she's not 7. She doesn't need you supervising her every second. If she gets hurt, oh well!"

"How could you even say that?!" I yelled getting up in his face.

Nick pulled me back, then Mikey began, "If she could get through the whole Facebook drama, losing her best friend to Valerie, and losing her parents, PLUS seeing her parents' murder on the news, she can deal with a little heartbreak! Let her live her life! You care more about her then you do about yourself!"

I was about to talk when he interrupted me, "Yeah, yeah, I know, 'She's my best friend! I'm supposed to care about her!' Yeah bro, you can, but not like this. Do NOT ruin your own night by caring about hers. Let it go, you guys are best friends, do you really want to throw it all away over a stupid little crush you have over her?"

I pushed Nick off of me and walked off.

And out of the corner of my eye, I could've swore I saw someone behind a tree, watching our entire conversation.

I must be imagining.

But then they approached me.

"I know how it feels."

"What?" I asked, trying to sound less shocked by who it was.

"To feel like everyone is against you."

Then they whispered in my ear, "Come with me, I can help."

A/N: Daaaaaamn. Do you think Vinny, or Mikey was right? Who do you think Nick agreed with? Where's Madison, and who do you think that person was?

Note: MAJOR scandal coming up, kind of. I might post it later today, or tomorrow. I decided to be nice and post all of the Homecoming Chapters. But this isn't the last Homecoming Chapter, Chapter Thirty is, but like I said, I might post it later today.(:
