Emily's POV

I couldn't see anything, but I could still hear everything going on.

Someone was crying.

"Bianca it's okay." Someone else said.

Bianca's here?

Maybe she can tell me what's going on.

But for some reason I couldn't see, speak, or even move.

What is up with my body?

It was probably because I drank my iced tea so fast.

Curse you thirst.

Then someone screamed, which I'm guessing was Bianca, "NO! IT'S NOT OKAY, I PROBABLY KILLED HER, AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!"

Then I heard some shuffling around, when my eyes finally decided to let me see.

There I was, in a hospital room, with Nick, Mikey, Bianca, Vinny, and Karen.

"Oh goodness." Karen said as she came up to me and put her hand to my forehead, "Are you feeling well?"

I nodded, then tried to sit up, but wires were attached to my hands, arms, and neck.

"What happened?" I asked, and Bianca's stood up.

"I am so sorry Emily you don't even understand how terrible I feel."

"Well," Karen began, "You accidentally got hit by Bianca's car."

Then it all came back to me.

"Emily honey," Karen sternly yet calmly said, "You need to tell us everything."

So I told them everything.

Then Vinny sat up, "I told you guys!"

"But I don't know where he went." I muttered.

"They checked his house, and he wasn't there." Vinny said.

"Emily, are you sure it was him." Karen asked me.

"Yes."

She looked uncertain, "Look, I was there! I'm the one who was abandoned at a gas station! I'm the one who is laying in a hospital bed! If they can't find him, I don't care! I just want to go home."

"Well we can't pretend it didn't happen Emily, because it did!" Karen yelled.

"Well can I just pretend it didn't?! I feel fine, you're the one who's so indecisive. 'Oh do I be nice and calm to her, or do I yell and bother her, since she's just been hit by a car?'" I mocked her.

Then someone's hand collided with my cheek, and Bianca and the boys gasped.

Then Karen stormed out.

I was holding back tears.

I held my cheek.

"I want to leave."

Bianca stood up, "Emily they have to do tes-"

"I don't care."

I started pulling off the wires and I walked out the door.

"I'll give you a ride!" Bianca yelled.

But I didn't want a ride.

I wanted to walk.

So I could think of where I could go.

Because it sure wasn't home.
