Chapter Nineteen

Vinny's POV

Thursday

It's been 3 days since I talked to Em.

3 days since I heard about her actually.

I was hanging with Mikey and Nick.

Every time I mentioned Emily, Mikey would grin like an idiot, and Nick would look sad.

I finally spoke up, "We should visit her."

Nick scoffed, "Yeah, cause that totally worked out the last time."

"I mean actually visit her, not Ryder's idea of a visit." I said.

Mikey finally spoke up, "Did you guys see Valerie's new status on Facebook?"

I shook my head.

"Well, of course it's about Emily, nothing new, but Ryder commented on it."

"What'd she say?" Nick asked.

"She commented, 'Hey, it's not my fault she's physco and can't take a hint.' I think they got in a fight."

Nick stood up, "Lets visit her."

7 Minutes Later

We stood at her doorstep, Mikey knocked on the door, and Karen opened.

She grinned, "She's in her room boys."

We thanked her and walked in, and down the hall, her door was cracked,

Mikey peeked in, he gasped quietly, "She's on Facebook." 

We backed up, and Nick knocked on the door.

She quickly stood up and shut her laptop.

She was crying.

She wiped her eyes, "Hey guys." 

I walked up to her and gave her a hug, and she cried in my chest.

Mikey walked over to her laptop and opened, "You really think re-activating it was a good idea?" 

She let go and looked at him, and shrugged.

He went to her settings, but she ran up to him, "No!!"

"Em, you have to delete it!"

"Look at all the things they're saying about me!"

They were pretty nasty.

Nick bit his lip, "Have you talked to Tammy?"

"She went to camp yesterday."

"So, no girl friends you can hang out with?"

She flopped onto her bed, "No."

"Emily, delete it."

Mikey wasn't asking no more, he was giving her an order.

"Fine!" 

She walked over to it and deleted it right away.

"I just want it to be over."

Mikey hugged her, and calmed her down.

What was that I felt?

Oh yeah, jealousy.

I've liked her since I met her.

But then again, she'll never know.

Emily's POV

I let go of Mikey and walked over to Vin, "Does Bianca have her license?"

"Yes...?"

"Can you ask her to drive me to the dance center tomorrow at 2? But I'm going to tell Karen I'm at your guys' house. There's auditions for a dance crew." 

"That's great! Okay I'll ask her!"

Then Karen burst in my room, "Emily, honey, guys, please come into the living room."

We all walked into the living room and Karen switched on the TV.
