Emily's POV
I just stared at the TV screen.
"They just said it was a robber looking for money."
I choked, "That doesn't explain why they were in that alley."
"Honey there could of been many reasons, but at least it's solved."
I know Karen was just trying to cheer me up, I couldn't stay mad at her.
She was my mother at this point.
"Well, I'm going to head to the grocery store, we need milk and whatnot."
Karen headed out the door.
Nick held onto me, "You okay?"
"Perfectly fine."
I must've said it very clearly and normal because they all looked stunned.
"Guys, seriously, I'm fine."
Mikey spoke up, "But, are you sure? It must hurt to see your parents' murder on TV."
Nick hit him on the head, "Way to lay it on thick, idiot."
"Guys, I honestly am fine, I don't even care."
I went to walk back to my room when Vinny stepped in front of me.
"Why doesn't it matter? They're still your family, Em."
"Yeah, we're worried. You've been acting strange lately." Nick said.
They weren't wrong.
Right there, I wanted to cry right there.
But I didn't ant to look more weak then I already am.
I pushed past Vinny and ran into my bathroom, and locked the door.
Vinny's POV
Mikey ran to the door and was trying to open it, but she locked it.
"Emily, don't do it!"
Nick and I ran up to him, "Do what?" I asked.
He whispered, "She cuts."
I shook my head, "No, no she doesn't."
"Yes, she does, I saw the scars."
I shook my head still in denial.
Why would Emily keep it a secret from me?
Emily's POV
I was standing over the toilet, and had my bucket of razors.
I dumped them all into the toilet and flushed it.
A sigh of relief escaped my mouth.
I unlocked the door and they all ran in.
Nick checked my wrists, "Where is it?!"
"I didn't cut. I did come in here to cry, but that's ridiculous."
Vinny came up and hugged me, "It's not ridiculous to spill your feelings. We're always here."
I always felt safe in Vin's arms.
I always thought I liked him, but honestly, I didn't want to.
But I did.
And you couldn't change that.
I let go of him and ran to my makeup table and pulled out the box.
A/N: Honestly, I don't like writing about Self Harm, I will but I don't really like it. I kinda used to cut, that's why I don't like to write about it, it makes me sad. :( Poor Em.
