Summary: A short drabble about future Eddward and Kevin's child being stubborn.
*********************
The fall hadn't even been that bad. Ariel was just playing on her roller blades. She of course was not wearing her padding, being as stubborn as Eddward was when he was younger. The girl was thirteen after all, she would be fine without those stupid things on her. She was proven wrong when she lost her footing and fell to the ground. Her hands and knees were scrapped, but it was nothing a little soap and water couldn't help.

She walked inside and hoped Eddward was not home. Kevin would not be an issue, but Edd seemed to be quite the over protective parent, much to everyone's surprise. People assumed that the nerdy red head would be the strict one. She couldn't be that lucky and her dad was sitting on the couch reading up on his student's thesis. Edd had managed to get a job at a prominent university, while Kevin had gotten a job with robotics.

He saw his daughter walk into the room and she smiled sheepishly, "H-hey dad."

Edd was quickly up from where he had been sitting. He took his daughters hands and quickly made their way to the sink. He started to wash them off and ran to look for the bandages. He dried off her hands as she watched. There was no stopping him when he got like this.

"Did someone do this to you?" He asked, "because if they did they are in trouble."

"Dad," She tried to interrupt.

"You should have rushed home right away," He continued to ramble on.

"Dad," she said a bit louder.

"Do you know how many germs are in these kinds of wounds?" He started to bandage her hands and knees.

"Dad!" She finally got his attention, "it's just a scratch."

Edd sighed. He had over reacted as he always did when either of their kids were hurt. He pulled Arial into a light hug and gave her a soft smile. She was right, it was just a scratch.
