I apologize if you're squeamish! (You could probably skip the last few paragraphs of it if you're really squeamish about blood and be fine for the following chapters)

|Angel (Angela)|

"Angie! Hurry up, you're going to be late for school!"

"I'll be down in a minute mum! I'm just finishing up this project!" My mom always acts as if I'll be late for school, even when I'm running early.

I gather the notebook from my desk and shove it into the large portion of my bag, adding my phone and charger into the smaller pockets. My video was so close to being uploaded, I stared at the screen on my laptop for a few more seconds before deciding to open Facebook in a new tab and just bring it to breakfast with me. I zip the black zippers of my navy blue back pack and sling it over my right shoulder, picking up my laptop and taking one last look at my lilac color schemed room before shutting my bedroom door and making my way down the stairs.

About 3 months ago I started learning how to animate, after seeing so many people on tumblr who did well with it. I also rather adored singing, so I decided to combine my passions, making animated music videos to my own covers. At first I wasn't entirely sure if it was legal, but didn't see the harm it would cause since people post covers all the time, I just wasn't very fond of the whole idea of my face being on the internet and neither was my mom. Whenever I brought up a social media site, like instagram or twitter, she always asked if I posted pictures of myself. I had to assure her that I didn't, even though it was obviously a lie.

Now my youtube, I go by a completely different name on it and nobody else knows that I post videos. Not even my best friend Alex.

Once I've made it down the stairs successfully without dropping my laptop, I make my way to the island in our small kitchen. The island was positioned between the stove, where my mother was currently making breakfast and coffee, and the pantry behind the bar stools. I sat on a stool and slid my laptop onto the island, checking quickly to see that my video had finished uploading, then signing out and sliding an ear bud in to be sure the sound was working, and finally exiting from the web browser and adding my laptop to my school bag.

We only have a couple of months left of school, literally two, so I'm really not too worried about being late since I'm a senior anyway. However, as soon as I finish the toast she hands me and sip my tea my mother grabs my hand and rushes me out the door.

"Mom it's fine, look I've still got time. Classes don't start for another 20 minutes." I laugh.

"Okay, I just don't want you to ruin your reputation right before college." She stresses, creasing her brows.

"I won't mum, I'm good." I assure her, wrapping my arms around her small frame. "I love you, see you after practice."

"I love you too! Oh don't forget to tell Alex that she can come over tonight if she wants!" She shouts after me, standing on her toes.

"You say that every Friday," I shout back, earning me a stern glare. "Okay, okay. I'll let her know, now I have to go or I really will be late!" I wave to her one last time out the window of my hand-me-down 2011 silver Toyota corolla before heading to school. On the way there I decide to just listen to the radio instead of my iPod, being that I'm already running a bit late compared to my usual routine. I also don't usually risk messing around with things while I'm driving, knowing all too well the accidents it can cause. The host on the station I leave it on doesn't talk for long before he introduces One Direction and they begin talking about their new album called "Take Me Home". Kind of a risqué title for an album if you ask me, apparently they're currently having a tour for it and they talk a bit about their opening act before I'm parking my car.
