Michael runs out of the room and comes back after a minute with a few different bottles of liquor.
"I say we start with 10 points and each time someone puts a finger down for a lost point, they have to take a shot. We can stop at 10 because otherwise we'd be way too pissed."
Calum thinks it's a great idea, Ashton is hesitant but on board, then there's Luke and I who don't mind playing but are slightly nervous. At least, he looks nervous and I know I am. I barely know them, and not only could this game teach Ashton things about me and my life in the worst way, but I also may wind up drunk if they ask too many of the right questions.
"Alright, everyone pick a drink and a glass!" Michael shouts. "Ladies first." I take the bottle of Jack Daniels and a Yoda themed Star Wars shot glass. The boys seem slightly taken aback by my choices.
"What? A girl can't like straight whiskey and Star Wars?" After that they all pick their drinks. There's only three bottles, so Luke has to share the whiskey with me, Mikey picks the rum for him and Calum, and Ash is left with the tequila we used earlier.
"Alright since Angie lost rock, paper, scissors, and because she suggested the game first, I think she should start us off." Calum suggests and the boys agreed.
"Uh, okay." The boys all put up one hand splayed out and I do the same. "Never have I ever... Slept with a five sauce fan." Calum takes a shot and holds up 9 fingers, but nobody else moves.
"Seriously Cal?" Ashton shakes his head.
"Hey, it's not a crime." He defends.
"Alright Luke your turn." I nudge the blonde beside me.
"Never have I ever, initiated a kiss with a member of five seconds of summer." He smirks at me.
"Oh, fuck you." I say, before downing a shot and curling a finger down. Ashton apparently figures it was accidental during the dare earlier because he doesn't say anything about it.
"Hmmm..." Calum strokes his invisible beard and peers at everyone. "Never have I ever... Posted an embarrassing video on YouTube." I think about some of my first animations and speed draw videos and cringe internally.
"Doesn't that mean everyone but Angie probably has to drink? Including you cal?" Ashton sighs.
"I don't think our videos are embarrassing. Besides, aren't we trying to learn stuff about Angie?"
"Yes you are," I say before downing another shot and putting down another finger, leaving me at 8.
"Wait what? You've been in a YouTube video? Was it viral or anything because then how wouldn't I have seen it and recognized you?" Ashton starts quizzing me.
"Wait your turn. Cmon Mikey, go so Ash doesn't piss his pants in anticipation." Calum teases.
"That hardly made sense, but okay." He rolls his eyes. "Never have I ever, gone skinny dipping with someone of the opposite sex." Ashton, Calum, and I all take a shot and put down one finger.
"Seriously?"
"Ashton, you did it too." I laugh. He shakes his head and begins to think.
"Never have I ever made a YouTube channel and posted more then one video!" Luke and I take a shot, leaving him at 9 and myself at 6.
"Damn, I didn't expect your sister to lose this fast!" Mikey shouts at Ashton and laughs.
"Yeah, me either." He chuckles, shaking his head again.
"Alright, my turn again. Never have I ever, been to the UK." I smile smugly since I know they just came from there. Everyone but me takes a shot. Leaving the score at Mikey with 9, Luke and Ashton with 8, Calum with 7, and myself still with just 6.
"Never have I ever... Gotten a tattoo!" Luke said proudly. Everyone except for him takes a shot, he seems to be the only one to realize that means I have a tattoo. He stares at me with wide and curious eyes for a moment before turning to Calum.
"Alright, never have I ever flashed somebody."
"Seriously Calum? When I looked up who you guys were on tumblr practically the first thing I saw was a picture of you flashing the entire world." I say.
"Ok fine, that was a stupid thing of me to say." He says before downing a shot, with Michael and I doing the same. They both raise an eyebrow at me as if to express a surprised 'nice' and then Mikey speaks up.
"What're the scores now?" We all hold up our hands. Me: 4, Luke: 8, Calum: 5, and Ashton: 7. "I've got 7 now." As Michael thinks strategically about what to say to get a specific person to take a shot, I could definitely feel the alcohol in my system begin to take effect.
"Never have I ever started a fight with someone for trying to make a pass at my sister."
"Shots fired!" Luke yells as Calum and Ashton take shots.
"Never have I ever thought I was in love." Wow, now Ashton's getting brutal. I take a shot somberly and notice Luke do the same. Great, now I only have 3 points and I'm buzzed.
"Never have I ever..." I think for a few seconds, giggling suddenly. "Made out with one of my best mates sisters!" Ashton and Calum watch the other boys like a hawk. After a few seconds pass, Luke gulps and takes a shot.
"Uh oh." Michael jokes, but the other boys aren't having it. Luke slowly glances to Ashton, causing Ashton's glare to deepen and Calum to relax.
"Uh... Never have I ever... Thought about Angela being hot!" Luke rushes out.
"What?" I stare at Luke, Ashton looks around, keeping an eye on each of them. Michael and Calum glance around nervously before they each take a shot shamefully. "Ohhhh you're trying to save your ass by shots fired." I ramble aloud and giggle profusely. Yep, definitely the alcohol. I sway a bit and tip to my right, landing on Ashton's lap.
"Hey brother." Everyone starts laughing.
"Maybe we should cut the game short now, before she passes out and I chop off all your balls." Ashton glares at each boy, Luke for a bit longer then Calum and Mikey, and then starts giggling when I reach up and play with his hair.
"It's so soft." I say happily in awe. His giggles cease after a moment as he shakes his head, getting ready to pick me up.
"No! I wanna watch a movie! Can we watch a movie please?" They look at each other and all agree, Ashton reluctantly since he's the only one of us that apparently didn't drink too much. Luke's glad to not have to take anymore shots, however Michael and Calum had taken another for good measure. Ashton was done for the night as well and proclaimed that I was too when I tried to join them in taking another.
Ashton, Calum and I sat on the couch with Ash in the middle. While Michael and Luke each placed a big pillow against the couch and leaned against it during the movie. Halfway through the movie I either fell asleep or blacked out, but after tonight I'm no longer worried about my new life. Now that I have the boys, I feel like I can get through anything that Australia or my mom in America has to throw at me.
