|Angela (Angel)|

Once I'd seen Ashton in the hallway I tried to keep away from the door, I don't want to meet him until I know who he is to me. It wasn't long after Dr. King left before a nurse came in.

"Angela?"

"Yep, that's me."

"Says here we just need some blood work." She comments while she looks at the clipboard with what I assume is all of my patient information on it.

"Could you, by any chance, tell me what Ashton is doing here?" She looks up from the clipboard then, giving me a questioning gaze. "Ashton Irwin, I mean."

"I'm not really supposed to, but... Seeing as what you're here for has something to do with him, lets just say he's here to do the same thing you're doing."

"He's having blood drawn?"

"To compare to yours, yes. If you're his twin sister, you'll have a certain amount of DNA in common. An amount of DNA that only siblings would have the same, especially identical twins." She smiles.

"Oh. I didn't think about how they'd verify my identity, I guess they wouldn't have really taken any samples of blood straight from a newborn. Or they could but it would be odd for sure." She nods with a giggle and gets ready to take a sample of my blood. When she's done she tells me Dr. King should be in when the test results are done. I stare at the clock with nothing else I can think to do, after nearly half an hour the door opens.

"My nurse said you asked about Ashton, why is that?" Dr. King asked.

"When you left earlier I looked through the door after you and he was out in the hall at the nurses station, he looked right at me but didn't actually see me." She nodded in understanding. "He saw me at the airport too." I spoke up before she could. She looked curious, she wanted me to explain in further detail. "Nothing happened, he just... His band mate had come up and talked to me and when I went to look at him after he left, Ashton looked right at me. It was almost like he instantly knew me, but at the same time he looked so confused. I sort of decided to escape him, since I don't know if he's actually my brother or not. He'd been looking for me where I was standing before and he made eye contact with me again through the doors as we left the airport. I just didn't know what to do." She nods and comes to sit next to me on the patient bed.

"You didn't do anything wrong, sweetie. And if he is your brother, he'll understand why you didn't go after him just yet." She comforted me.

"I hope so, I just don't want to hurt him anymore than he's already been hurt."

"Hey, that's not your fault. Don't ever think it is, you hear me?" I nod and smile at her, she smiles back and nudges my shoulder with hers. Her pager buzzes and she looks at it before looking back to me. "That's the results, cmon." She holds her hand out and I give her my hand, she then leads me down the hall to the elevator and takes me to another room on a different floor.

"You paged, did you already compare the two samples?" She asks the only man in the room.

"Yes Doctor, take a look." He clicks a few things and looks beyond his desk to a screen on the far wall, where two patterns are displayed.

"They look almost the same," I say, "How can you tell the difference?"

"Well," Dr. King begins, "They're usually not quite this similar... But, in the simplist way, if we make this one blue," the man at the desk does as she says. "And make this one pink, then we overlap them..." I watch as most of the now combined pattern is purple, with a couple blues and pink strands mixed in.
