|Angela (Angel)|

As Mason, Rachel, and I got off the plane in Australia I couldn't help but be on the lookout for the four members of 5 Seconds of Summer. We were waiting for our luggage to come out and I'd been nonstop glancing around myself in search of them. Just as I was about to assume that they'd be getting off in a different area to avoid prying eyes, I spotted Luke across the room. Soon I noticed the darker haired member next to him, I only knew Luke's name because so many of the girls at my school had begun to be obsessed with him this past year. The dark haired boy glanced up from his phone and seemed to be looking around the room in a bored manner, until his eyes met mine again. This time he didn't seem so much confused as perplexed. He licked his lips before sliding his phone in his pocket and walking away from his band mates, towards me.

I lightly hit Rachel's arm and didn't take my eyes off the boy. She followed my line of sight and grabbed my arm, whispering near my ear.

"That's Calum Hood, and it looks like he's coming over here."

"Rachel, what do I do?" I ask, turning my head towards her but keeping my eyes locked with his.

"I don't know, we haven't seen my mom yet. I'm not sure what she'd want us to do. I guess just be nice? Maybe he doesn't think you are who we think you are."

"Why else would he be walking towards me?" I finally look at her but she merely shrugs and backs away from me, keeping an eye on me and nudging her brother to do the same. While they're discreetly watching me, I notice that the boy I saw has almost made his way to me. When he gets to me he smiles, seeming to study my face.

"Hey, I saw you on the plane..." He trails off, obviously hinting for my name.

"Yeah, I saw you too." I glance at Mason and Rachel. He looks over at them and waves cheekily, Rachel waving back shyly while Mason crosses his arms with a stern look on his face.

"Protective older brother?" Calum asks.

"Something like that." I let out a dry chuckle and Calum gives me a look I can't quite decipher. "What?"

"What's your name anyway? I'm Calum." He says before extending his hand for me to shake. I take his warm hand in mine and shake it shortly, noticing that we're standing only a foot apart.

"I'm, uhm. Angela."

"You sure?" He asks, smirking and quirking an eyebrow at me.

"Yeah," I giggle fully, "I'm sure. My name is Angela, has been for quite some time anyway. What can I do for you, Calum?"

"I'm not really sure yet, to be honest. I just can't help but think I need to know who you are... Shit that sounded creepy. Okay, let me try that again. You seem really familiar to me but I've never seen you anywhere, it's interesting. So I figured, why not come and talk to you before we leave and I never see you again?" Just then, Luke walks up behind him and slaps an arm over his shoulder.

"What's up, mate?" He asks Calum.

"Just saying hello to Angela here, she was on the plane too."

"Yeah I remember, guess you're waiting for your luggage too then?" Luke asked, turning his attention to the luggage claim. Then he looked at me and gave me a weird look, somewhat similar to the one Calum had given me.

"Yeah, been waiting quite a few minutes." I answer.

"Well I guess it's a good thing it didn't start before we got down here, woulda missed our own luggage." Calum chuckled.

"Yeah, I guess." Awkward. I looked past the two to see their other band mates looking around, probably for them. "I think your friends are looking for you guys." I nod in their direction. Luke and Calum both glance behind them, Calum sighing. Luke nods at me and gives a slight wave. Clapping Calum on the back before turning and heading towards his other friends.

"Hey uh," Calum rubs the back of his neck while he looks down slightly to meet my eyes. "Do you have a Twitter or anything?"

"Uh, yeah I do actually. Why?" I asked.

"I just uhm, normally I'd give you my number or something. But since we're starting to get more fans and all, it's not actually safe for me to anymore. Leaks and all, you know?" I nod at him and purse my lips, waiting a few seconds before holding my hand out for his phone. He raises his eyebrows but after a few seconds he must get the hint that it's the only way I'm giving it to him. He takes his phone out and opens up Twitter on it.

"I'm trusting you not to tweet anything, just type your name in the search bar." He goes to hand me his phone and doesn't let go. "Seriously, I'm trusting you."

"Okay, I get it." I laugh. "Hey I'm trusting you too you know. I expect you not to 'brag' about getting my Twitter handle to your friends over there like I'm some prize for your ego, by the way." I search the name of my personal Twitter handle and go to my page, not following myself. I'll let him do that if that's what he wanted. Sure enough he smiles at his phone, tapping something on it before slipping it into his pocket. He says he'll talk to me later and quickly kisses me on the cheek before rejoining his friends across the room, shocking me completely. I look over at Mason and Rachel, seeing Mason claim the last of our bags that have just come off the belt. I glance in the bands direction one last time, only to see Ashton making eye contact with me. His eyebrows instantly furrow, eyes widening in what seems to me to be recognition. His posture straightens and he gets ready to sprint towards me, I immediately turn to run to Mason and Rachel.

I grab my luggage and we make our way to the door. I take one last glance over my shoulder to see that Ashton has reached where I was and is breathing heavily as he looks all around himself for any sign of me. Just as we make eye contact again, I'm out the doors of the airport and on the hot streets of Australia. I barely see his expression, eyes full of confusion and longing, before I'm inside the car that's to bring us to Mrs.King.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Alright, looks like we're here." Mason said as the car came to a stop outside a big building. "Cmon lets go see mama." I follow them both inside, through elevators and multiple turns in hallways until we come to what seems to be Mrs. Kings office. Mason knocks and she opens the door a few seconds later.
"Hey, kid!" She hugs him and ruffles his hair a bit before hugging her daughter as well, then she looks at me. I look back at her while I rub my arm nervously. It's all so odd being in Australia, seeing Ashton and the boys at the airport of all places, and now meeting the woman who will tell me if I really am related to him or not.
"Hello, sweat pea. You ready to find out who you are, once and for all?" I nod in response. "Cmon then, I have a room ready for ya." She nods to her kids and leads me out of the room, taking me down the hall to a small hospital room. "You just wait in here and I'll get my best nurse to come in an take your blood to be tested."
When she opened the door I leaned over to glance into the hall. I once again see Ashton, this time talking to a nurse at the nurses station. What is he doing here?
AN: Soooooooooo, she sort of met Ashton? Let me know what you guys think! She'll be actually talking to him soon. What do you think about Calum? Remember this is set in roughy 2013 when they were on the TMH tour so they're not super popular.
Also please let me know if I get anything wrong about Australia or traveling there and I'll try my best to alter the story to correct it!
Lastly, thank you SO MUCH for reading my story, it means the world to me!
