The boys had to stop and sign a few things in the airport on our way to the gate but overall it didn't take very long before we were boarding. Ashton had paid for my ticket over, but Mr. Jameson was no doubt going to try to pay him back. Once we were boarded, Calum and Luke had headphones in, Calum deciding to watch a movie while Luke was listening to music.

"Guess that leaves you and me." Ash says as he nudges my foot with his. We had two rows of two seats that faced each other.

"I guess so, gives us a chance to get to know each other." I smile, him smiling back.

Once the plane takes off, he turns in his seat a bit to face me better. Calum is sitting next to Ashton in a window seat, getting ready to sleep. Luke and I are across from them, me being across from Ashton and Luke sitting in our window seat since heights freak me out. Plus, it's easier to talk to someone when they're sitting across from you, and Ashton and I definitely wanted to catch up on this long flight. Ashton told me about how he joined the band and how they all met, continuing to talk about how amazing it is that people are starting to recognize and look up to them.

By the time we'd been on the plane for an hour, Calum was pulling his earbuds out, saying the movie was shit and asking for a blanket to sleep with. Luke did the same but didn't ask for a pillow, and wound up falling asleep on my thighs. I laughed when he moved there and Ashton shook his head, smiling as well.

"So, tell me about your friends. You said Alex is your best friend, how long have you known her?"

"We got lined up next to each other while we waited for recess everyday in first grade. The first time we really started talking though, was when we both got held in from recess."

"Trouble makers then!" He shouts and I laugh, Luke rolling away from Ashtons loud voice so his face is now facing my stomach. He has one of his arms under his head and wraps the other behind me, as I continue talking to Ashton. Surprisingly, Ashton doesn't seem to mind. Either that or he didn't notice.

"All we did was doodle on our desks." I defend.

"Ah, so rebellious." He jokes. "So, do you have any friends besides Alex? Maybe a boyfriend that I should know about?" He asks warily.

"Hmm..." I pretend to think and he rolls his eyes, kicking my foot. "Okay, okay. No I don't really have many close friends. It's always just been Alex and I, the other people I hang out with are on the cheer team. Alex doesn't cheer but she usually comes to cheer me on, I guess you could count a few of the people on the squad. Alex and I hang out with them sometimes but we're usually just on our own."

"Sooo, any of these friends boys?"

"Yes, there are guys on the cheer squad. No, I do not have a boyfriend. I have had a boyfriend before, but he was a total fuck-boy and tried to ask out Alex, coming back to me when she said no." I shake my head at how pathetic that kid was. "It's been well over two years since that relationship though, if Alex and I are both alone later in life we'll probably just marry each other for the health and insurance benefits to be honest." Ashton laughs and shakes his head fondly at me.

"So, not to make things awkward, but how was your life growing up with the woman who took you?" He asks, looking quite nervous about bringing it up.

"Well, she loved me a lot, still does. She always said that I was her little miracle baby because her doctors told her she was infertile." I wring my hands as I continue to tell Ashton about my childhood. I tell him about what I remember about my dad and what my mom has told me, I tell him all about the memories my mom and I have made over the years and how well she treated me up until finding out about the school project. I tell him about Mr.Jameson and how he's always been there for me as sort of a father figure as well. Soon enough we've talked for hours and the light is starting to shine through the windows, indicating that it's morning now wherever we are.

"We should probably go to sleep, don't want you passing out in class later." He chuckles.

"Yeah, probably." I take my sweater off, rolling it up and putting it behind my head. I discovered that the seats in our section can recline and we both recline our seats, making Luke shift to a more comfortable position on my stomach and causing Ashton and I's shoes to touch.

"Goodnight, little one." Ashton murmurs, leaning over to use Calum's legs as a pillow.

"Goodnight, little brother."

A/N: Okay so this one is really short but the last couple chapters were really long. I've decided that the next chapter will be in Ashton's POV which will be a very very rare occurrence, so it should be a long one.

As always thanks for reading and stay beautiful my lovelies!
