Kylo hasn't shown up to training for three days now. It's quite annoying seeing as I have literally nothing else to do.

Sure it was my fault that he was so mad, but he infuriates me as well. I shouldn't feel bad about it, but I do.

After staying in my room for so long today, I head to the commissary to get something to eat. I was just going to stay in my room as long as I could buy food is so important that I couldn't deny my growing hunger.

I enter, quickly loading my plate with hearty food that is way better than anything I'd ever eaten as a servant. The troopers usually complain about it but for me it's great.

As I walk towards the drink bar, I hear someone call out. "Hey, Lyra!"

I turn my head to see the pilot I met before the incident with Kylo the other day.

"Hey!" I say as he approaches me. I dig through my brain to remember his name.

"Are you about to head out or are you staying in here to eat?" He asks, a smile on his face. It makes me giddy to see someone really smile.

"I think I'm staying in here today. I usually just eat in my room or eat on the go because of training, but..." I trail off, not feeling like elaborating anymore.

He nods, his eyes looking down to my plate. "You should sit with me today! I'll take your plate back to the table so you can get a drink," he offers, taking the plate out of my hands before I can protest.

"Oh—thanks," I say with a slightly uncomfortable laugh. I've never had anyone offer to do anything for me like that, so I'm not completely sure how to react.

He walks away and I watch so that I'll know where he goes before I turn back and get myself a drink. After I get a drink, I head to where I saw him sit, still trying to remember his name.

I sit down in the seat next to him, taking notice of the other people at the table. Most of them are pilots, but some of them are troopers.

I genuinely smile as I sit next to him and his friends look at me.

"Who's this, Bane?" One of them, a tan-skinned, dark haired person asks, smiling at me. Another smile from a different person is refreshing.

Bane! I remember him saying that now! I'm so glad I didn't have to ask him again.

"This is Lyra," he says, looking at me to do the rest of the introduction.

I raise an eyebrow, wondering what I'm supposed to say. I look around and see everyone at the table, seeing them look at me expectantly.

Oh, I guess I should explain why I'm a part of the First Order.

"Um, I'm in training for battle strategy with Kylo." A few of them gasp at me, confusing me. "What? Did I say something wrong?"

"I've never heard someone address Lord Ren like that," one of them across from me says. He has copper-colored hair and a freckled face. His teeth are crooked and he talks with so much disbelief in his voice it almost offends me.

"Oh, well, I've never really called him Lord Ren," I confess, wondering why I've not been required to do that. It seems to be a big deal to others.
