When you trust and love people so much, that they start meaning to you more than your own life, even one mean word by them shatters you apart. How twisted it is, that the entire world is full of meanies, who don't realize that even people with physical ailments are humans? They have a heart too, which feels hurt and pain with the mental cruelty they are subjected to. But alas! No one lives for the other nowadays, all people care is about I, Me and Myself. That's what is called an extreme selfish world.
Raisha stood staring in the direction in which Aayush left, not even blinking her eyes for even a second. Then as if on cue, her feet moved back to her class and she sat down like a stone, being incarnated on a grave. The whole day was blurry for her because the deep pain, anguish, hurt and hollowness, she felt inside was making her restless. The physical pain wasn't even 1% close to the pain, she felt in her heart that day. As soon as the bell rang for everyone to leave, she stood up from her place emotionless and started climbing down not caring for anyone, but herself.
She walked and walked not even looking once, whether her father came to pick her up or not. And because of the excessive crowd, even Raj couldn't find her. She walked lifeless, on the streets, with Aayush's words ringing in her ears continuously from the time they have been blurted out. His laughing face saying those heart breaking words, was an image etched on her mind.
She reached a secluded area, where there was no human specimen, but just an empty and lifeless ground like her. The three years of her life roamed around in front of her eyes as if the ground was giving her the reality check of her stupidity to even have any hope.
"You sympathetic bitch! "
"You useless girl! "
"Raisha is just sympathetic attention seeker".
"She uses her illness to get marks ".
"You are good for nothing".
"You are incapable! "
"You are disabled! "
"You blind mutt! "
"It's good riddance to be away from her "
Every single insult and mockery flashed in front of her eyes, again and again, the words were like a knife piercing in her skin, not ready to stop any moment. At last, when she was finally not able to take any more, she fell down on her swelled knees and screamed loudly closing her ears with her both hands
"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh".Her tears cascaded down through those little green eyes like a waterfall, not stopping for any moment. She looked above in the blue sky and yelled loudly.
"Why?"
"Why me, God?"
"What wrong have I done to, anyone? "
"What is my fault? "
"Why am I being punished? "
"Why is everyone hurting me like I am untouchable? "
"Why? Tell me Why? "
She kept on questioning the God's of heavens for all the misery she was facing. The person whom she had thought the angel of her life came out to be the bigger destruction for her. The damage he had done with his mere words, was more than what she can ever describe or say except to her broken heart which was crying along with her. The lightning struck and the rain started pouring in full speed on her getting mixed with her innocent tears. It seems even the Gods were crying for this child, who was subjected to so much of hurt and pain at such a small age.
"I was stupid to trust everyone ".
"I was stupid to give them my unconditional love".
"It's my fault that I even had a small hope when they all made it clear all along that I am just a useless and sympathetic girl for them ".
