Isn't it heartbreaking that after hurting your own love, shattering their dreams, how someone can even breathe knowing that the person is as miserable as them. But what's done is done, you can't change the fact but all you can only do is pray, for God to do some miracle so that you can go back in their arms and seek solace because that's what you want and you wish from the deepest core of your heart. Some people love for the sake of being loved but there are some who when love are even willing to break themselves apart for their partners because they don't see anyone else in the world but just them for whom their hearts beat for. After all, love isn't just about romancing your partner, it's also about naming your life for that one person who is the reason for your very existence, and who when not with you, all you feel is a deep void in your heart and only wait to be right back in their arms because that's the only safest place on this earth for you.
Raisha stared at the calendar emotionlessly for the umpteenth time since the day she had hurt her Aayush. She had broken his heart by her cruel words and she had forced him to go away from her while he had begged her simply to tell him what was wrong with her and all she did was to stand there blankly. She was carrying a burden on her soul and now she had even burdened him with all her mess.
"For how long are you going to carry this heartless facade of yours?" Isha spoke shaking her while she just stared at her with a blank expression on her face. She was doing this only since the day Aayush left her and she didn't know for how long will she have to behave like this as if he doesn't matter to her nor his distance matters to her.
"I am fine. Nothing is wrong with me", she replied plainly and sat down on her bed avoiding eye contact with Isha because she was scared that her friend might read into her soul and see her vulnerable condition.
"Raisha why won't you or Bhai tell us what the hell is wrong with you both? He just left for his house and you have become this unknown person whom I can't even recognize?" Isha asked a little loudly and Raisha just sat as if she didn't even heard a word of it.
"Look at me and tell me dammit, what the hell has happened to you both? It's been fifteen days since you are moving like a lifeless, do you even realise how miserable you are without him?" Isha yelled while Raisha just looked away not wanting to give in her tears for even a second otherwise it will ruin everything for them.
"You are thinking too much Ishu, I am not miserable I am absolutely fine", she lied wanting to end this topic while Isha just passed her a glare and walked off cursing her under her breath.
Once she left Raisha locked her room, and slid down on the floor resting her back on the door as her tears finally made their way out as, the memories of that night flashed in her mind.
The moment Raisha's words registered in Aayush's brain, a shocked expression crossed his face while Raisha controlled her tears.
"What did you say?" he asked with a serious voice and Raisha's heart broke seeing the smile leaving his face while a fear was creeping up in place of it.
"I said I want a divorce from you!" she said in a little louder voice.
"What nonsense are you even saying? Have you lost it?" he yelled at her, with his anger rising with each second which scared Raisha too core.
"I haven't lost it but you did lie to me. You told me that you have only a few issues with your father but in reality, he had disowned you and you don't even have a penny to live", she yelled back at him trying to sound confident as much as she can while he glared at her baseless reasons.
"So you are telling me that just because my father has disowned me you want a divorce from me?" he shouted shooking her by her shoulders. She looked around to see if someone was hearing them or not but other than his father's men's no other person was visible and she sighed as she didn't want to make a joke of their marriage in front of the world.
