Blindfolded by the man of her heart, Raisha sat in the car with puffed cheeks, and crossed arms. She could hear the small laughs of her mighty fine husband who drove them to his some secret place. She had tried to guess, ask or even plead in her way, but secretive as ever, Aayush didn't blurted a word.Having enough of his silent teasing, Raisha slapped his forearm, and warned, "Stop laughing."
"And if I don't then would this Sunshine refuse to give me her light?" He asked in his usual chirpy tone, making her lips transform into a cute pout.
Leaning near her face, still holding the steering with his one hand, he kissed her cheek, and whispered, "Do you trust me, Sunshine?"
"Is that even a thing to ask after years of marriage?"
"For others it might not but for me it is because to save the trust of your beloved is the most hardest thing to do. And I want to be sure at every second of the day that your trust on me is still the same as years ago."
"Then know this that no matter how many years pass, my trust on you is never going to fade away."
She linked her arms with his and rested her head on his shoulder as he drove, with a smile.
"Want ice-cream?"
"Only if you're willing to feed me."
"I'm ever ready to be at your service, Ma'am."
"Then I won't ever deny anything you bring."
"Fair enough, Mrs Khandelwal."
With that said, he halted the car in a side, and went to bring her vanilla and strawberry ice-cream, while she sat at her place thinking of the many places he could take her but in the city where she hadn't stepped for years now, what could he possibly do now?
Aayush returned with a tub of her favourite creamy ice cream, and fed her a spoonful. He purposely scattered a bit on the sides of her lips, and taking the chance, he tasted the bit in the process caressing her cheeks with his lips. She turned crimson, as he continued fondle her skin with his lips.
"Aayush!" She kept her hand on his chest, pushing him away a bit, while he grinned seeing the tint of red on her cheeks.
"I thought you wanted to feed me ice cream."
"Well I never said that I won't eat my sweet dish now." He corrected her proudly, referring to his activity of love on her cheek.
Red as ever at his boldness, Raisha shut her mouth, feeling too shy to even say a word to him after he so proudly confessed his naughty tactics. Over the years people definitely change, but in his case nothing changed. He loved her the same as ages go while she loved him the same, and so did their craziness for the other.
"Now since I have left nothing to speak, I'll resume driving." He said starting the engine again, and though Raisha was pissed but she couldn't help but smile at his habit.
He stopped the car after a while and without another word, opened the blindfolds. Once she adjusted to the light, she witnessed his serious look and turned her face to peep outside the window. Her eyes widen as she eyed the very building where her dimensions were made as well as broken.
Their School! The very place which started their beautiful yet painful love story. The place which United them as well as drifted them apart.
"It was the school reunion of all old students and we were invited as well. This is why I brought you in this city." He said answering her unasked query. Certainly, she was shocked when he suddenly asked her to accompany him Lucknow for business trip. Stepping there was not a horrendous task, but living in the same air as others was surely bit difficult even now.
