Settling his specs again on his eyes, Aayush peek inside his daughters room to see his magnificent wife, tugging his baby girls to sleep. Once done, she planted a soft kiss on each of their foreheads before making her way to her husband who stood there scratching his forehead nervously.
Amused to find him at the door, rather than in Aakarsh's room, she furrowed her brows at him. Everytime, she stared at him, her heart leapt out of her chest in ecstatcy and pure Bliss. He was still the same Aayush she had fallen in love with years ago, and till date he manage to make her weak on her knees. It wasn't a surprise anymore, because they were crazy for the other and she won't be shocked, if he held the same opinion as hers.
"Why are you standing here?" She inquired lowly, not wanting to disturb their girls who slept after a lot of fuss. No doubt, they hated sleeping early but their parents preferred them going to bed at 10 exactly in the night so that they won't skip school in the morning.
"Waiting for you. Can't I?" He draped his arm on her waist, pulling her closer. His eyes shining behind his glasses and Raisha had to give him that, even with glasses he looked nothing less than a rockstar. Infact more than that.
Tiptoeing, she wrapped her arms around his neck with her lips curling in a small smile that made him heave a sigh. He was a goner for her, and he knew it.
"Aayush, something is running in your mind; isn't it so?"
Raisha couldn't help but ask seeing him simply gaze at her with love and affection.
"Can't I look at you till my heart's content?" Bringing his other hand near her cheek, he wasted no time in stroking them with the back of his fingers while she chuckled lowly, shaking her head.
One thing she can never comprehend are the thoughts that run in his mind, when he continously gazes at her.
"Let's go in our room, before I wake up your Little Devil's. And I hope your Champ is sleeping now". She stated stepping back from him. Linking her arms with his, they headed back to the master bedroom.
The second they were in, Aayush turned around, and scooped her up in his arms making her Shriek in laughter, as she supported herself by wrapping her arms around his neck. Kicking the door close, he gave her a wide grin walking upto their bed in long strides.
"I should have known before that you were upto something, my dear hubby." She teased as he laid her down on the bed.
He towered over her, and slowly she removed his glasses keeping them aside on the night stand as his eyes roamed over her face.
"There is hardly any time when I am not upto something. But today I have something which is more important than anything else." He replied with a little serious look, making her frown.
"What's wrong?"
"I know you always think, what I think when I stare at you for hours, but today I want you to experience what I try to feel in those hours."
"Today, I want you to see that years back also your Aayush was by your side, holding your hand. Back then too, Aayush belonged to his Raisha and they were one." He shifted to the other side, while Raisha's mind grasped his words. If she was right, she knew what he was implying at, she could feel it where he was going with this.
"Aayush....., " He kept his finger on her lips and taking her hand kept it on his heart.
"Don't say anything. Today I want to remove that horrible memory forever from our mind. I can't live with it anymore, and the only way to do is recreate another one where we are in the same phase but together. I love you, Raisha. And I want to show you that even then I would have done what I do now." Her eyes were teary but she didn't had the guts to even voice out her feelings for him. He always left her speechless.
