Chapter 39- A new Lifestyle...

Getting adapted to new changes in your life is always a difficult task one has to go through, especially when those changes are painful and simply heartbreaking. When you have lived all your life by going around in your ways, then suddenly getting dependent on someone, all you feel is deep void in your heart and anguish in your mind for turning into something which you never thought you will. Helplessness is what that rules on your mind and anger is what you feel on your cruel fate to put you in such a situation, when nothing is making sense to you but still when your partner is with you trying to mend you putting aside their broken pieces, you want to smile at least a little if not for yourself then for them because your pain hurts them hundred times more.

The circumstances have turned such drastic for Aayush that all he felt was dejection, hurt, pain, anger, frustration, sorrow, agony, and anguish for himself and his Raisha. It has been two weeks since everything has changed for him, everything has turned upside down for him but he didn't give any reaction still. He had blocked himself from everyone as only the doctor's word from that morning rang in his ears "Due to the glass pieces piercing your eyes, your eye cells have got damaged and as a result, you have lost your eyesight".

He didn't yell or moved nor did his tears made their way out as he felt empty in his eyes like his life had become colorless. Raisha had immediately taken him in her arms and he heard her sobbing for him but still, he didn't say a word. He just sat stunned, not able to believe that this could even happen to him and since then he hasn't uttered a word. They have kept him under observation for two weeks and finally, getting pissed he had ordered them to discharge him much to Raisha's fear as she was still scared for him.

"Aayush I brought your clothes now you can leave those tacky hospital clothes and again be my sexy husband", He heard Raisha's excited voice and he felt some heaviness leaving him. She hasn't left his side for even a second but he hasn't even acknowledged her presence, since days forget about uttering two proper words to her but still she continued to shower him with her love, as much as she could.

She came close to his bed and like her routine, she planted a kiss on his forehead and then on his eyes, as if telling him that her love hasn't changed even a bit.

"Are you hungry?" she asked in a soft voice and he just shook his head in denial.

"Then I will go and talk to the doctor regarding your medicines!" she said and started to leave only to be held by him at her wrist. He might not be able to see her but still, he could locate her with the soft beating her heart made; more like it said his name with every breath she took. This was the very heart that forced him to even fight death then how won't he know her presence for which he actually lived?

Raisha closed her eyes as finally, she felt alive just with his one small touch. Tears stung her eyes but she composed herself like every time when near him because she can't show him that she was as broken as him. She had to give him back his strength and confidence; for that, it was necessary that she don a strong avatar in front of him.

"Did my lover boy finally remembered that he hasn't touched his wife, since days?" she asked in a cheeky tone turning around to see him still with closed eyes.

"Don't you hate me even a little for putting you through this much pain again?" he couldn't help but ask. He wondered what was she made up of? Doesn't she ever get tired of pampering him always? All her life she loved him like no one else and he only gave her pain but still, she was here standing beside him like a shield to guard him against every hurt and suffering while he was nowhere around when she herself was coping up with her troubles. For once, he himself was questioning his fate because he was sure God just made him lucky to bless him with his Raisha in his life who was the epitome of purity and strength. His very personal strength.
