How dumbfounded would you feel when the person whose attention you are trying to get since days, suddenly comes in your arms without even asking? The astonishment you feel in that moment when the person is clinging on to your arms for their dear life is something soothing to your heart because it only indicates that they trust you enough to seek warmth and solace in your arms.
But should you give in the moment and take the chance or should you just let them hold you, as long as they want? The situation is quite confusing as well as unexpected, hence many may not be able to decipher what they should exactly do?
Aayush stood there like a statue as Raisha clung to him tightly as if afraid that he will go away, without her. Her hold on his shirt kept on tightening, her lips were brushing his shoulders and her front was pressed up totally to his front creating havoc in his mind, as well as heart. It was that million dollar moment of his life, when a gorgeous girl was hugging him, but he was so confused to even hug her back.
His heart and mind were in a constant fight and then he heard her sobs, immediately his hand went to her back. He started rubbing her back, to console her.
"I am here, relax", he whispered to her and she buried her face more in his neck, so much that her lips started caressing his nape and he closed his eyes, living the moment.
"I thought I would be stuck over here forever and no one will find me", she said in a muffled voice with her eyes tightly shut.
"I would have found you no matter what happens". Aayush replied tightening his hold on her waist and she gripped him tightly, feeling safe and secure in the warmth of his arms.
They stayed in that position for some more time, until Raisha realized what she was doing. She parted from him like a lightning striking, taking two steps backward at a time and Aayush watched her tear stricken face, as she kept on nodding her head in a no with her palms on her mouth, to control her sobs.
Aayush felt rejected, but most of all he felt Raisha was trying to push him away for some reason known to her.
"Raisha listen to me", he pleaded her taking a step forward and she yelled at him "Don't, it was a mistake. You don't mean anything to me. Just leave me alone".
Aayush looked down with pure hurt because in spite of saving her twice, she was pushing him away and she didn't even hesitate in calling their moment, a mistake. He was about to turn on his heels to leave when he saw her holding the desk to support herself and her eyes were blinking as if she was about to faint.
Her body started to fall down slowly, but before it could touch the ground Aayush caught her in his strong arms and scooping her up, he carried her bridal style to her room all the while with an unknown pain in his chest, and with some unknown feeling rising in his heart.
"Bhai, what happened to her?" Isha yelled the moment she entered her room. Once Aayush settled Raisha on her bed, he had called Yuvi on his cell and explained what happened of course, excluding their moment.
"She fainted due to exhaustion", he replied grimly still staring at her face.
"Is she fine?" Isha asked concerned sitting beside Raisha on her bed.
"I called the college doctor she would be here in a moment", he replied in a soft voice and Yuvi noticed something different in him.
"She is absolutely fine, nothing to worry. I gave her injection and I am prescribing some medicines, make sure she takes them after having proper food", the doctor replied once she was done checking up on Raisha, making Aayush sigh in relief.
"I will go get the medicines", Yuvi said taking the prescriptions from Aayush's hand.
"I will go bring dinner for you both". Isha said and Aayush nodded.
