Living a life without her parents was not the thing Raisha has ever thought in her life but today when she has been living in that reality for a few months now; she realized just how difficult it would have been for those who are unfortunate to even find a home for themselves.

At least she was aware about her parent's being near to her; on her one call they could be summoned near her whilst she can lay her head in their lap and cry her heart out.

With the same thoughts circulating in her mind, she sat in her room of the Malhotra Mansion; Malhotra's were the closest to her now when she had strictly warned her parents to be away from her. They were her anchor, her guardians and also those who saw the agony she was trying to mask in the nerves of her heart.

Every day she woke up, with a hope that now things will be different, but sadly her life wasn't that easy. If she thought one moment that she was succeeding then in the other, she once again stepped back.

"Hey, Raisha!" Nikhil entered her room greeting her with a smile. Her physiotherapist who was appointed by Raman, gave her a small smile as age got down the bed to begin her therapy.

"You can go to your practice, Bhaiya. I will manage". She purposely asked Nikhil to walk out of the room because she knew that the second she will reveal her choice of exercise to him today, he wouldn't let her do that. Just like her Jay, he loved her way too much.

"But...,"

"It's okay, Bhaiya. You can go. I will be fine with Dr. Uncle". She assured him, praying to God to make him agree because all the people close to her, made her weak at times; because none of them could see her in that excruciating pain.

Reluctantly, Nikhil left whilst turning to the therapist, Raisha demanded, "Dr. I know you told me that for few months, I will have to do light exercises only, but I want to do the heavy ones. I want you to fold my legs backwards forcefully".

The therapist stared at the sixteen year old girl in disbelief. He had come across several patients in his life, but never for once they have demanded him to proceed with the things with that determination and strong will. It was like something was forcing her to bear all the pain of the world yet she didn't wanted to give up.

"Raisha, you have fever as well as your knees are swelled up badly. I can't do this. You will have to wait, for a few days more. It's gonna be painful. I know I push you a lot, but I am no heartless to make you suffer more in this pain. We can go slow until your fever gets recovered".

"I don't want to wait. I am ready, Dr. Please proceed. I don't have any more patience inside me now. I have waited enough but I know that, until I don't become hard on myself even you won't be able to do anything. To achieve few goals in life, you have to juggle in between a lot of struggles, and I am up for those because I can't let my parents sacrifice go in vain.". She explained in an emotional tone. Her tears threatened to spill any time, but she composed herself.

Witnessing her determination, even the therapist couldn't deny her wish whilst she thanked him whole heartedly.

After a few basic exercises, the therapist instructed Raisha to lay on her belly, as he pressed her back knees fully on the mattress so that the swelled up knee will straighten a little which will ease him to fold her leg in the backward direction, until it touches her lower waist line.

For a normal human it might be a piece of cake, but to a person who was infected with the JRA; it was like crossing the Mount Everest without proper oxygen supply.

"Ahhh....," She cried loudly as the therapist began to fold her one leg little by little.

Her eyes shut, as the tears streamed down like a waterfall; while her hands clutched the bedsheets tightly. Her breathing was getting heavy with each passing second, as the therapist kept on pushing her feet towards the back until it could the lower hip; which was the standard point in the start.
