Isn't it so terrible that just when we think, our past has gone forever then only it comes back to haunt us in the ways which we never expected? We work so hard to forget the painful memories, but it doesn't even take a second for us to go back to square one, with just one twirl of wind. It's like a cyclical process that if you are born, then you have to keep on fighting for yourself, no matter what the situation is?
Raisha kept on staring in those brown orbs which were now dark brown. Those were the same eyes in which she had lost herself once so much, that she failed to see the truth, those were the same eyes which provided her comfort when they looked in her direction, and those were the same eyes which were shining when the person made a mockery of her and her condition.
She was still in his arms as he too gazed at her green eyes and he felt himself drowning in them. He felt something moving inside him, the moment they held each other's gaze, something he never felt before. But the more he stared at her, he felt her eyes were pleading him something which he couldn't understand, but he wished to understand as this female in his arms was really captivating to him in their first meeting only.
"Bhai". They both heard Isha's happy squeal and Raisha immediately stepped back from him, creating a good distance between them. She looked down as her fingers knotted together in confusion, irritation, and frustration at the thought of him being her new friend's brother and also with their sudden proximity.
He strolled over to his sister glaring at everyone and the girls immediately left Isha, as she ran to hug her brother.
"Thank god you came Bhai, these all were ragging me and my friend", Isha complained hugging him while he looked at the guys with an angry gaze and they gulped in fear.
He parted from her and walked up to the guy, who made Raisha dance forcefully. He looked at him for a second studying his face carefully and then he turned around to see, Raisha standing at the same place where he left her, but he could see she was scared.
He turned his attention to the guy again who was sweating now badly seeing the way, he was under the scrutinizing eyes and before he could decipher anything more, he was knocked down on the floor as he got a solid punch on his jaw, by the person standing in front of him.
"Aayush we were just having a little fun", one of the guys defended his gang and he was straight away thrown in a further corner.
The rest of people gulped, they all were aware of Aayush's temper if someone is ragged and this was his sister, surely he might be itching to kill them.
"Apologize or else you all will find yourselves out of the department", Aayush's voice roared in the corridor and Raisha felt her heart pounding against her chest hearing his voice after 7 long years. She could see he had changed a great deal, in fact, he reflected order and power and his features have become more mature and manly especially, his jawline which was quite prominent on his stubbled face.
Aayush picked up the guy lying on the floor through his collar and pushed him in front of Raisha, who was taken aback by his sudden action. She looked at him to see his hands fisted and his jaw clenched in anger. It seemed that he was controlling himself from not killing them.
"Ask forgiveness now or else it won't take me a minute to report to the Dean", Aayush ordered in an authoritative tone and the guy obliged obediently and so did the rest of the gang and Raisha just stood there taking in his presence once again around her. But this time, she wasn't the one to lose her heart, it will be someone else who will run after her.
"Today I am leaving you all and this is the last time, mind it last time and if I find you once again doing any sort of this nonsense with my sister or anyone else, you will find yourselves out of this city and its a promise and you know Aayush never backs off from his promises", he threatened all of them in a stern voice and everyone nodded and left.
