Mostly all men in this world have big fat egos which don't let them accept the truths, no matter how much their loved ones shout at them or even their own heart keeps on telling them. If they decide something that they want to accept it then they will, even when it's wrong but if they make it an aim of their life to prove the other person wrong, then they will go to any lengths to prove their point but is it all worth a fight when at the end of the day the truth comes like water splash on your face making you only feel like a loser, for trying to convert the right one into wrong.
Aayush had never thought that he will ever feel so disgusted with himself in between all the girls who didn't let any chance to touch him or even hold his hand. For the three years of his life, he had enjoyed all this but now a few days away from all his old ways he felt like an alien, who was being introduced to the human world for first time. He was adamant on proving Yuvi wrong, but inside he knew that he was wrong but his larger than life ego was becoming a hurdle in making him accept the biggest truth of his life, that finally he had fallen in love madly.
"Aayush how are these earrings?" the girl named Kanishka asked. She was a second-year student of the engineering department and every boy used to run after her but she was crazy for her senior who didn't even glanced at her. But today when Aayush just waved his hand at her, Kanishka felt as if God himself has stepped down on earth to bless her.
Aayush who was sipping his Caffè latte turned his attention to her earrings and he felt his eyes widen in shock, at the large earrings she was wearing. He felt like laughing at her stupidity to wear such stuff in college, but he needed to do it for his challenge.
"Ohh Kanishka baby, you look gorgeous in them", he replied tugging her hair strands behind her ears while the girl blushed crimson. Only if he could say out loud, that those were the most pathetic earrings ever he saw and she looked like a goat with ornaments.
Just then, he saw Yuvi entering the canteen and he immediately wrapped his one arm around Kanishka and took hold of the other girl's hand sitting beside him, making all of them squeal like a kid.
"Girls how about we hit the disco tonight?" he asked seductively and their heart skipped a beat seeing their dream man offer them a night with him while the man was busy smirking at his best friend who was giving him an amused look because he knew the moment certain someone enters here, all this facade will go in garbage.
"Aayush you are so sweet!" one of the girls said batting her eyelashes sweetly at him and he winked at her.
"You all look outrageously hot today", he complimented all of them but his eyes were on Yuvi. In reality, he wished he could just tell them to take some fashion classes from his Raisha, who stayed so simple yet she looked the best always. And there he goes back to his Raisha!!
"Raisha!!" he whispered softly to himself with a smile but Kanishka heard him.
"What about Raisha?" she asked confused and Aayush felt like banging his head. "Idiot! Why can't you stop chanting her name?" he mentally chided himself but what can he possibly do, since the day he had seen her all he could think and see was her.
"Aayush where are you lost? You didn't answer, do you like Raisha?" Kanishka asked feeling jealous and Aayush was offended by her tone when she said his Raisha's name.
"Why would he like Raisha? She is just powder face who doesn't have any fashion sense", the girl whose hand Aayush was holding replied in place of Aayush and that did it, the moment her words registered in Aayush's system he jerked his hand away from her in such a way that she fell down on the floor.
The entire canteen gasped in shock while the girl felt humiliated by him. "Aayush what happened? What's wrong?" Kanishka asked making Aayush's nostrils flare in anger at her audacity to ask him something or even touch him after insulting his Raisha.
