Dauntless Blood

Four

I kept my eye locked on the blonde guy that called me a Stiff. Ryn notices the change in my eyes as soon as she hears the guy mouth off again.

"Let's not fight. Four, Eric and Tris want us to be in shape for training. Fighting won't help that," Ryn says, her eyes more intense because of the blood red ring around her pupils

"What're you going to do, Stiff," he says.

I snarl and lunge at the guy, knocking him down. We struggle on the ground, both of us landing equal punches, then he rolls over and sits on top of me pinning my wrists above my head.

That's when I hear a feral roar.

Ryn jumps on the dude's back and begins clawing his shoulders and face. The guy hisses as he tries to get Ryn off his back.

"Fight! Fight! Fight," the other transfers shout.

I snarl tackling the guy as soon as Ryn jumps off his back. I hiss then I begin trying bite the guy.

That's when I feel someone pull me off Blondie.

"ENOUGH," Aiden's voice booms, echoing around the room.

"WHO STARTED THIS," Eric shouts.

Almost everyone points to Blondie

"Tanner," Eric hisses.

"What? She needs to be taught a lesson," 'Tanner' says pointing to Ryn and myself.

"Beating a girl? You must be must be a special kind of stupid," Aiden says.

I wipe the blood coming from my nose on my right shirt sleeve. Eric holds me back, knowing the stories Aiden possibly told him about my temper.

I see sympathy in Eric's eyes when I look up at him.

"You okay, Squirt," Aiden asks me after Eric takes Tanner to see the other leaders.

I open a mind link to Aiden and Ryn.

Ryn and I are Divergent, I think to Aiden.

I know, there's at least five including you, me and Ryn, Aiden says.

Four and Tris, Ryn asks.

Aiden just nods.

"Lets get you to the infirmary, Cade," Aiden says, then he leads me out of the room.

~Time Skip~

"What happened here," a girl asks me.

Her dirty blonde hair was cut short like Aiden's and her green eyes were like Ryn's but they didn't have the blood red ring .

"Tris, Cade. Cade, Tris Prior," Aiden says a he gets some medical supplies.

"I hear you were first jumper, Cade," Tris says.

"I was," I sheepishly say.

"Ya know I was first jumper when I joined Dauntless," Tris says.

The same guy that helped me out of the net walks in with Ryn.

He also had dirty blonde almost brown hair and brown eyes. I could see his abs through his black shirt.

"I see you met my husband Four, Cade," Tris says.

I barely nod, not noticing that I was holding my right hand over my nose.

"The Four? The Four as in only has four fears Four," I ask.

Four nods.

I bow with my right fist over my heart after Tris fixes my nose.

I hope they can keep a secret...
