I softly hummed as I sat on the couch in mine and Eric's apartment. He was in a meeting with the other leaders and had said he'd be back as soon as he could. I close my eyes and feel our child kick against my hands as they laid neatly against my stomach.

"You're going to be a strong boy or girl when you're older," I softly hum to my stomach, "Your daddy and I already love you so much, Baby Coulter.".

I relax against the soft cushions and soon began to softly snore. I murmur softly to myself when I felt like a nightmare was beginning. I scrunch my nose up and softly whine when I realized it was the same nightmare I've had before. I tightly wrap my arms around my baby bump, shivering as I watched the nightmare unfold.

No! Don't hurt my parents, I whine in my head as I watch the Eric in my nightmare shoot them. Tears streamed down my face, my panic increasing with the fear of the nightmare.

"Cade! Cade Baby, wake up," I heard Eric say.

I lay on my left side and curled into a ball, still crying. My mind didn't register that Eric's left hand was rubbing my right shoulder, nor did it register that he was kissing my temple. I scream, then I shot up, whacking my forehead against Eric's.

We both yelped at the same time, but his hands cupped my face. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him. He had a worried look in his eyes, but I watched it slowly dissolve as he softly smiled.

"Are you okay," we ask each other at the same time. Eric smiled at me, then he chuckled softly.

I roll my eyes, then I smile as well. Eric helps me up, then he looks at the bruise forming on my forehead. He gently kisses the bruise as I softly yawned. He squeezed my hand and sat beside me.

I lay my head on his shoulder, going back to sleep as Eric began to hum.
