I was walking with the training group across the catwalk to The Pit to leave the training area completely. Eric in the lead and Aiden behind us. Four stood in the middle of the group, then suddenly I feel myself falling and grip the bottom railing. I looked up and saw Peter and Tanner laughing at me.

My fingers start slipping so I let my left arm fall, then I roughly and awkwardly grab the bottom railing. A sickening pop echoes through the chasm beneath me. I lock my jaw, grunt as the sweat from my palms starts to affect my hold.

"Pull her up," Aiden's sharp voice snapped at Peter and Tanner.

"Stiffs need to die," Tanner said.

I grunt again, my fingers slipping more.  I say a silent prayer as my fingers completely lose their gripping. I expected to plunge straight down but I felt two pairs of hands grab my arms. I felt one pair of hands grab my shirt and the other pair of hands helped the first pair pull me up.

I kept my eyes closed and felt pain shooting through my shoulder. I lock my jaw and felt someone pop my shoulder back into place.

~Eric's POV~

I looked down at Aiden's sister after he and I pulled her up. I didn't care she had shown me mercy when she cracked my rib, but I got pissed when Peter and Tanner threw her over the cat walk. I popped her shoulder back into place and watched her flinch.

I stand up and let Aiden pick her up. Cade slumped over his arms, her white hair falling from her messy bun. She looked younger while she had her eyes closed.

"C'mon, Sis," Aiden said, lightly smacking her face, "C'mon, Cady Bear.".

I heard a low groan and watched Cade's eyes flutter open. I felt my heart catch in my throats when I saw her eyes. They were the same purple Aiden had, but hers were more beautiful.
