Maya was wearing a fluffy pink dress that only a bridesmaid at some kind of royal wedding would wear. Her dark brown hair was curled and bounced over her shoulders. Her makeup was light and natural.

Even Fern had to agree that Maya was frickin' gorgeous. She didn't blame Sam for always staring at her...which he was doing now.

She slapped his shoulder. He quickly looked away.

Fern knew that Sam was still intoxicated by Maya's outer beauty. On the outside, she looked like a gentle, sweet princess.

On the inside, she was a gargoyle.

Sam knew about her gargoyle-like inner beauty, but it was still hard not to judge books by their covers.

"Hi, Sam!" she squealed, bouncing up to Fern and Sam in her outrageously flashy dress. She didn't bother to greet Fern, who was already starting to get pissed. This chick laid one manicured finger on her man, Fern would shoot her. With poisoned darts.

"Hello," Sam said stiffly.

Maya grinned, and then looked at Fern.

"Hey, is that dress H & M?" she asked.

"I don't know, but at least it's not from Bridesmaids Galore," Fern spat.

Maya sighed sadly. "It sucks how whenever I ask you a simple question, you have to criticize."

Fern shrugged. "Deal with it, Princess."

"And Sam, is that shirt from Aeropostale?" Maya asked, squinting at Sam.

"It says ABERCROMBIE in huge letters," Sam told her, dumbfounded by how stupid she was.

"Oh, so it does! Silly me." Maya giggled and skipped off, probably to work her Dumb Blond charm all over Jane & Ethan.

"How did she graduate from preschool?" Sam murmured.

"That was probably the only grade where she was a straight-A student," Fern muttered back. Sam snorted.

"So, where were we before Princess Gargoyle showed?" Sam asked sexily.

Fern ran a finger down his chest. "A-B-E-R-C-R-O-M-B-I-E," she spelled.

Sam snickered and planted a huge kiss on her hot, dirty little mouth.
