I lit my second joint up with August next to me on the bed walking me through it. I realized that last time I smoked I had August playing so I got up and turned on my Bluetooth speaker.

I listened to Aug as his music serenaded me.
I must've taken 3 puffs too many because before I knew it we both were high as fuck. I started seeing swirly shit. I could get used to this.
I let out another puff.

I woke up and tried to call Nautica.
She didn't answer so I texted her to call me when she got a chance.
I got up and took a shower then brushed my teeth and put my hair in a big curly puff ball on top of my head. I put on a white T-shirt and some cargo pants with my forces.
I called my nigga Reggie and he sounded sad.
"Dude" he said.
"Wassup homie? What's going on?"
"My step sister maine. She in the hospital"
"Damn fa sho? What happened homes?"
"I don't know. I talked to a medical doctor and he said that she was in a car accident." Reg said.
"Shaking my head. You on ya way up there?" I asked.
"Yea"He said sighing.
"Well imma be there too. What hospital?"
"Downey's"
"Okay. I'll be there fa you bro."I told him.
"Thank you dude."
"No problem." I said.
I got my keys and started to drive up there.

I got a text from ma nigga Reg.
R:Man can u come up to the hospital fa me.
A:What happened bro?
R:My stepsister got I'm a car accident. They don't know if she gon survive.
A:Damn man. ight I'll be there fasho.

A:Yw. What hospital?
R:Downey's

She in the same hospital I was in. I finished ma joint and kissed Lani while she wuh still high.
"Alright lul guh. I'm botta go to da hospital fa Reg. He said his step sister got in a car accident."
She sat up. "Who is his sister?"
I shrugged ma shoulder.
"I wanna go. "
She got up and got dressed in some Grey joggers and a white T-shirt. We were matching.
We left and pulled out. I texted Reg.

R:Alr. I'm here. She on Floor 7 Room 47

We ended up at the hospital about ten minutes later.
Every time I come here I have bad memories.
We got out the car and went to the elevator.
We walked towards the room and walked in.
First we saw Reggie then we saw his sister.

When we walked in Lani dropped ha purse on da chair and stopped in ha tracks. She looked at Reggie then his sista.....

I pulled up at the hospital. I parked my car next Reg's and walked in. He had told me the room number. I took the elevator up and was going to walk in the room.
I almost blacked out when I saw who was in the room....
Reg
Everybody came in at the same time with the same expression and I was so confused. Everybody started talking at once.
Kelani: August....its that girl
August: Reg? That's ya sista?
Carter: Nautica?!?
Kelani: Carter?
August: What? Did you jus say Carta ?
Reg: What just happened.
Carter: She did.
Kelani: I did.
August: Reg you got some real explaining to do son
Kelani: ya
August: you do too. You cheated on me wit dis nigga?
Carter: I was a sideline?

August: you hid me from him?

Carter: You didnt tell me you had a nigga and here you are breaking my heart again

August: were leaving Lani. Let's go.
