I couldn't believe my eyes, and then I could. Before I could react in my body I was pulled into Lissas. I discovered that it wasn't a surprise that Dimitri was at her door and that she had actually known about it for a long time.

I was angry, so, so angry. How could she not tell me that the love of my life and the father of my child would be her new guardian. I rummaged through her mind to try and give an explanation for her betrayal and came up blank, not only had she hid this from me but she was also hiding something else. Someone that was making her feel sick thinking about my reaction, I just couldn't dig deep enough to find out what it was.

Luckily, Lissa kicked me out of her mind before I started to look like I was staring at Dimitri when instead I was outside my body.

I didn't no how to react to seeing him again. In four years he hasn't aged at all, in fact he looked even more gorgeous than before. I quickly scanned his body and was surprised at how fit he had become since he left, he was a god before but now... Wow!

"I take it your Lissas new guardian?" I couldn't help the weak voice that came out of my mouth. It was unrecognisable. How could Dimitri Belikov, the man I used to feel so confident around make me feel so small and unimportant?

"Yes." was his reply.

I couldn't handle this, I walked out of the room and straight to a sleeping Elena, I had to get out. I didn't trust myself around him, I would do something something if I didn't have a distraction. As I walked into the room Elena was sleeping in, she woke up with sweat dripping down her forehead.

"Mommy," she croaked "I don't feel well, my head hurts really bad." Before I could suggest anything she was sick again in the bucket Lissa had left near her bed.

She stood up to wipe her mouth in the bathroom when suddenly she fell unconscious. My baby had passed out and I had no idea what to do, and so I did something I'm not proud of. I screamed at the top of my lungs and caught her before she hurt herself. Lissa and Dimitri must of heard my scream because when I opened my eye they had rushed in the room.

"What happened?" Lissa shouted, she tried to get closer to Elena but I protectively wrapped my arms around her and pulled her lifeless body into my arms

"Don't move her!" Dimitri yelled as he came closer to us, I glared at him "she might be having a seizure!" My glare faded as I realised he might be right. I lay Elena as she was and that's when the tears leaked down my face.

"What do I do?" I cried. I felt helpless, I had no idea what was wrong with her

"We take her to the infirmary." Demanded Dimitri.

I nodded and scooped her up in my arms, I tried not to move her too much as I ran to the infirmary with Lissa and Dimitri following me.

As soon as I got there Dr Olenski took her out of my arms and placed her in a room where she was hooked up to a machine. I sat by the edge of her bed and held her hand crying. My baby wasn't waking up and I was scared to death.

This wasn't the distraction I wanted.
