I was so happy that my family were visited but also I was nervous, nervous that they would question why I'm not still with Rose considering she risked her career to track me down and save me. If they did ask I wouldn't no how to explain, what would I say? That one day my plan was to recover from the memories that haunted my dreams in the comfort of court and the next I had agreed to become Tashas guardian!

A part of me still questioned why I was with Tasha and not Rose, but then a voice in the back of my mind reminded me that I loved Tasha. Funnily enough though I never recognised who's voice it was! I did love Tasha, or at least I thought I did. I no longer have feelings for Rose. Or that's what my mind told me. My heart, on the other hand, had a different idea. Every time I saw her it jumped, and for a split second I wanted to run back into her arms but then I was reminded by the voice that I loved Tasha.

"Dimka? What are you thinking about?" Asked my weak and frail grandmother

"Nothing important." I replied, she shook her head and when we arrived at the house they were staying in she pulled me to a private room to talk to me.

"Dimka, I never thought I'd have to say this to you" she said in Russian "but your being so naive. Can't you see that Rose was telling the truth. Look deeper into the child's eyes and the truth will be revealed, you need to break out of your spell and realise what's real."

She left me speachless, never had she said so much to me, and never had it been about something so personal. Also I was surprised that she knew about mine and Roses conversation, but I knew about her 'power' and all she could do.

"Yeva. You and me both know it's impossible, Rose is just jealous, you can't expect me to believe her?" She shook her head and started walking away.

"I don't no what to expect from you anymore." Her words stung. I hated feeling like a disappointment towards my family. Rose must have left quite the impression on them.

As we walked out of the room I noticed that only now were my mother and Lissa joining us in the house. I wonder what had been going on there.

"Everything alright?" I asked

Both mother and Lissa nodded but didn't say a word. I expected it from the princess because she hadn't spoke to me since I came back, probably because she was taking Roses side. But I felt like I was getting the silent treatment from my own mother.
