"Is she at the airport?" I asked . Lissa zoned out for a minute, presumably going into Roses head , she returned a minute later

"Her flight has been delayed by half an hour, shes going to get a coffee while she waits. Any chance we could go any faster?" I put my foot down a bit, i wasn't much over the limit but i guessed that if i got pulled over it wouldn't do me any good.

Me and Lissa ran into the airport, I ran ahead but kept Lissa in a safe distance in case any strigoi attacked her, which was highly unlikely due to the fact that we was surrounded by people. Lissa stopped to check the bond before pointing us in the right direction.

I heard her before i saw her. Her beautiful laugh, followed by the sweet giggle of her daughter, our daughter.

"Go." Lissa whispered "prove that you believe her." I nodded in Lissa's direction before slowly walking over to Rose.

It was like she sensed me walking over because her head shot up and her eyes bored into mine.

"Dimitri?" She whispered "What are you doing here?" I stopped walking and stood in front of her

"I believe you." I regretted the words as soon as they came out of my mouth.

"What?" She asked.

RPOV:

He said he believed me. Believed that Elena was his daughter or believed i still loved him? Either way it was too late, he had told me all those horrible things, he didn't deserve us. But a part of me longed for him. Stood before me wasn't the man who broke my heart into a million pieces. Instead it was the man i fell in love with.

His eyes no longer held the cold expression he had ever since the day in the church, they were now filled with emotion; regret, sorrow and.... love?

Was it possible he still loved me? No! He had made it very clear, I needed him out of my life, out of Elena's.

"I  believe Elena's mine." He whispered. I shook my head.

"It's too late. You made your decision and now I'm making mine. I'm leaving, what's to say that if I do stay you won't leave me for Tasha again." Lissa walked forward

"Listen to him Rose. I promise he's telling the truth." I looked at her for a moment, I tried checking the bond but she cut me off. She wanted me to hear it off him.

"Rose, I was under compulsion. Someone made a charm for Tasha - like the lust charm. It forced me to leave and to leave behind my life. I didn't go by choice, I would never leave you."

"Victor said that the charms work off existing feelings. You must have wanted to leave for it to work." Lissa spoke again

"We have gone through this ourselves Rose on the way here. His intentions were good." I shook my head. I wouldn't believe this.

"But Tashas not powerful enough to posses that much power to create a charm that strong?" I questioned

"But Adrian is." Replied Lissa

"I'm going to kill him." I answered.
