4 months later

Nothing had happened in the last 4 months, Elena still hadn't woke up and Rose was still inconsolable. I was successful in making the bond two ways which meant I could hear every word she was thinking. She wished that Elena would wake up and that they could run away together. She wanted to leave.

I don't blame her, for months she had witnessed Dimitri and Tashas relationship. During a time when I was in Roses head I had discovered how much she truly cared for Dimitri, she believed that he was her soulmate. Her other half.

I couldn't describe the pain she felt over Elena, she still hadn't woke up, days were passing and Rose was starting to give up hope that she ever would. She blamed herself for letting them go through with the operation, but I told ur repeatedly that the operation had to happen.

RPOV

4 months and 3 days, that's how long it had been since I had last heard Elenas laugh, seen her smile or watched as she opened her eyes in the morning. How I wished I could go back in time and see her again, I couldn't describe the feelings I felt but none of them were happy.

I was sitting I Elenas hospital room when Dimitri came in, he opened the door sheepishly and for a few minutes he just stared at Elena, he had never seen her look her best but he had seen her happy, obviously this was a huge difference for him

"Rose, can I get you anything? You haven't eaten properly in weeks." I shook my head

"I'm fine thanks." My voice was just above a whisper but he managed to hear me.

"Okay, but Rose?" I turned around to look at him

"Yeah?" I asked

"Can we talk?" I knew this time was coming but I had hoped he would have better timing. I nodded my head and led him outside Elenas room, if she did wake up I didn't want her to hear this.

"Rose, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry that i left but it was for the best, I'm happy now. Me and Tasha are going well and I've moved on. I just hope that you can move on and be happy as well." I scoffed

"I won't be happy until Elenas okay." A tear escaped my eye and I quickly wiped it away

"You obviously did move on yourself, otherwise she wouldn't be here." I shook my head

"Your unbelievable Dimitri, you really think I would move on from you, I loved you !" I started to shout

"You obviously did! And by my calculations you moved on quickly, Elenas almost 5 which means you slept with someone just after I left. So much for you loved me." I couldn't take it anymore, I needed to tell him

"You think I would really do that. Call me what you want but I'm not like that, I wouldn't sleep with someone so fast! She's yours Dimitri! I don't no how but she is." Dimitri laughed and shook his head

"Don't try and destroy what I have with Tasha, your just jealous." Something took over his eyes as he said this, they were no longer the chocolate brown that I fell in love with instead they were ice blue like... I didn't have time to think about this I needed to be with Elena.
