Chapter 61:

Hazel's POV:
*christmas day*

I smiled as I woke up. 'It was Christmas!' I thought to myself, 'The first one with my new family!'  I checked the time, 10:45 they're definitely awake. I jumped up and got dressed into my 'Legend of Zelda' Christmas jumper, black jeans and black jeans. I looked into the mirror and fixed my hair, I looked down and realised I was still wearing the necklace Dan got me, I'd not taken it off yet. I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed the two poorly-wrapped presents for Dan and Phil. I went into the living room where Dan was trying to light the fire and Phil was sitting by the Christmas tree. "Merry Christmas Hazel," Phil smiles as I sat down next to him. "Merry Christmas dad," I smiled back. Dan came down and joined us. Dan passed Phil his massive present. Phil kissed him and ripped it open. It was a massive totoro plushie. And I mean massive, it was half the size of me, and I'm tall. "You can have your present later," Phil smiled, "Ew!" I chuckled. "No, not like that. We need to go somewhere for Dan's present," Phil laughed. Dan's eyes widened. "Hazel, here's your present from us," Dan smiled, handing a box. I gave them a hug and slowly opened it. "Thank you so much!" I smiled. It was a new ukulele! But not any ukulele, it was a limited edition TØP design AND it was signed by Josh and Tyler! "Oh, I got you two a little something too," I blushed handing them the gift bags. I got Dan the Sherlock box set and the new Avenger film and I got Phil a framed Muse Vinyl. They thanked me and we all went on the sofa watching Christmas films.

"Phil, when can I have my present?" Dan moaned. Phil smiled, "10 minutes, it's on it's way."  Dan widened my eyes then continued watching the movie. 10 minutes later we heard a knock at the door, Phil told him to stay there and ran downstairs. Then Phil said that we could come down. We followed and Dan opened the front door to see Phil holding a shiba inu puppy! He jumped at Phil and gave him a massive hug. "But I thought we weren't aloud pets?" Dan asked, stroking the puppy. Phil smiled, "Well I asked and they said yes, so here is your Christmas present." He kissed him, "Thank you so much!" He kissed Dan back and he carried the dog inside and took it upstairs.
"So what you going to call him?" I asked me as we played with the dog together. Dan smirked, I laughed, "Dan please no." "Doge," he laughed. Phil and I sighed.

*the next day*
I woke up with a massive grin on my face, that was the best Christmas ever! The ones at the orphanage were pretty bad actually, we all got a  little present from Ms. Muligan like a mug or something and then we all entertained ourselves. But that Christmas was amazing! I got dressed and walked to the living room were Doge was sleeping on the sofa, I sat stroking him. I felt my phone vibrate, it was a text from Sam. 'Hey Hazel, Merry Christmas! Just wondering about the party, text me back xx'. I smiled and put my phone back in my pocket. "I guess I should ask Dan or Phil," I thought to myself. Dan wandered in, "Morning Hazel, Morning Doge," he smiled sitting down and petting Doge. "Hey Dan, um...my friends boyfriend's hosting a party on New Years Eve. Do you think I can go?" I asked, "Do you know if Leo will be there?" he asked, looking concerned. I shook my head, he smiled, "Yeah sure, I trust you. And I'll allow you to drink okay, because I know I can trust you."  I smiled back at him, "Thank you."  I got out my phone and texted Sam back; 'Hey Sam, Merry Christmas to you too! And I can come to the party, text me the details xxx'. It didn't take long for her to reply, 'YAY!! Can't wait! p.s. Dan enjoying Doge? ;) xxxx'. 
My first party! I was kinda nervous about it but I knew it would be fun!
