Chapter 62:

*New Years Eve* *the night of the party*

I dug through my wardrobe, finding something to wear. Sam was picking me up any minute now. I quickly grabbed my burgundy skater dress and woolly cardigan and put them on. I also grabbed my Doc Martins and laced them up. I brushed through my hair and put my phone and Polaroid camera in my pocket. I checked in the mirror. I heard a knock on the door, it was Sam. I ran to answer the door, Doge followed. I opened the door to a glamorous looking Sam. "Hazel!" Sam shouted hugging me. "Sam, you look amazing!" I smiled. Doge jumped up at her, "Is this Doge," she smiled, I nodded. "He's adorable," she said, picking him up and petting him. She checked the time, "We really got to go," she said, I nodded. I took Doge from her and put him upstairs.

We talked as we walked there, "How was your Christmas then? Get anything nice?" Sam asked. "It was so fun. I got a new ukulele from Dan and Phil and a record player from Dan's mum. How about you?" I smiled. "Yeah, it was alright. I got a shit ton of CDs and Books," she chuckled. "We're here," she smiled as we arrived to a massive house, music blasting out of it. "He lives here?" I asked, Sam nodded. "Oh yeah, are you drinking?" Sam asked, "Yes, well Dan's allowed me to drink. Are you?" I smiled, she nodded. She took my hand and we walked in together. When we walked in Trinity stood with an older looking, taller boy, "Hazel," she shouted as she put her arms around me, she smelled of alcohol. "This is Jamie, my boyfriend," she continued gesturing to the boy. I smiled at him, he smiled back. "Anyone wanna drink?" he asked, me and Sam nodded, Jamie went off. He arrived with two cups of what I think was alcohol. He handed them to Sam and I and we both took a sip. I got out my Polaroid and we all posed for a picture. I shook it and put it in my pocket. I took another sip of my drink. 'Mr Brightside' by The Killers started to play, Sam jumped up and down, "I love this song!" She smiled at me, "Come on let's dance," pulling me to the dance floor. I laughed as we danced, I quickly got out my Polaroid and took a picture of her dancing. The song then changed to a slow song, all the couples hit the dance floor and started to slow dance. I went to get off when Sam grabbed me and pulled me close. She directed my hands on her hip and hers on my shoulders. As the song played, I gazed into her eyes. And that's when I realised, she was the most gorgeous person I have ever met. We spent the rest of the night dancing and drinking, until she looked at me and asked if I was tired I nodded. She took my hand and directed me through the crowds of people. We finally went up the stairs into what I could only assume was Jamie's parents room. I jumped on the bed and laid down, Sam joined me. "Are we allowed to sleep in here?" I asked, Sam nodded, "Yeah, me and Trinity were staying anyway." I sat up, so did Sam. "Wanna play Truth or Dare?" Sam asked, I nodded. "Truth or Dare?" she asked, "Truth," I smiled, "Did you have a great time tonight?" "Yes, it was the best night ever," I smiled, "Truth or Dare?" "Dare," she smirked, "I dare you to write something on the wall," I laughed. She grabbed a pen and wrote in big letters, 'Sammie woz ere.' We laughed as she sat back down on the bed, "Truth or Dare?" she asked, "Truth," I smiled, "What's your sexuality?" Sam asked very briefly. I blushed, "Bisexual." She smiled, "I'm a lesbian, truth or dare?" "It's your turn though," I smiled, she frowned. "Dare," I sighed. "Kiss me," Sam smirked. "What?" I asked, "You heard me," she smirked again. I got face to face with her and kissed her on the lips very quickly. I then looked into her eyes and kissed her again, this time very passionately. Second by second the kiss got more and more passionate. She pulled away both of us panting, "Are we really gonna do this?" I asked. Sam looked concerned, "We don't have to if you don't want to. I mean I don't even know if you want t-" I stopped her with a kiss. She slowly moved her hand up and down my leg, making me kiss her harder. She ripped off her shirt, leaving her just in a bra. I smiled as I looked down on her body. She smiled at me and slid my dress off, leaving me in just my underwear. We continued to kiss...

I woke up with the worst headache ever, I looked down to notice I was naked. I gazed over to my side to see Sam, who was naked too. I remembered the night before, and before you assume no it wasn't the alcohol taking control. That was me, finally telling Sam that I loved her. "Morning beautiful," I heard her whisper, cuddling with me. "Morning," I whispered back, giving her a kiss. "I love you Hazel," she whispered, "I love you too Sam," I whispered.

We both got dressed and headed downstairs. Trinity and Jamie were sitting on the sofa. "Morning guys! Good night?" Sam shouted winking, Trinity stuck her tongue out. "Yeah, how about you two?" she winked, I blushed. "Yeah it was amazing. Hey Jamie, hope you used protection," Sam winked, Jamie blushed. We all laughed. "What you wanna do then everyone?" Trinity asked, we all shrugged our shoulders. Trinity smiled, "Shopping centre?" Sam, Jamie and I sighed but all nodded. "Great, I'll go put some makeup on then we'll go," she smiled, walking upstairs taking Jamie with her. Sam smiled at me and kissed me, "What are we?" I asked, "Oh right, Hazel will you be my girlfriend?" Sam smiled. "Of course," I shouted kissing her again. "I'm gonna check in with the family, I'll be a second," I smiled, Sam frowned, "Don't be too long." I laughed, "I promise," kissing her on the cheek.

"Hello," "Hey Dan, it's Hazel," "Oh hey Hazel, how was the party?" "It was good, how was your night?" "You are too young to know the details," "Okay, I didn't need to know that. Oh yeah, is it okay if I go shopping with my friends?" "Of course it is. It's nice to know you're having fun." "Thank you Dan, I've got to go. Call you later." "Yeah okay, bye." "Bye."

"I can come," I smiled, approaching Sam. "Yay," she said jumping at me, causing me to fall onto the sofa with her on top on me. She kissed me on the cheek, I kissed her back. "Sam! Hazel!" Trinity shouted, Jamie following behind her. We both sat up. "What was going on?" she asked, we both blushed. "We're girlfriends so we were making out," Sam laughed, "Oh, I'm happy for you two. You make a cute couple," Trinity smiled at us. "Let's go shopping!" she shouted. We all got on the tube and headed for a shopping centre. We arrived as a group, Sam and I hand in hand and Trinity and Jamie hand in hand. It was kinda like a double date. We followed Trinity into a makeup shop, she stood trying a bunch of different lipsticks etc. "Can we go into the music shop?" Sam asked as we passed the shop. Everyone nodded, "I do need the new 1D cd," Trinity smiled. Sam and I laughed. Sam and I ended up splitting the price of a Fall Out Boy record. "Bubble tea?" Jamie asked, everyone nodded. We all ordered bubble tea and sat at a table, "Wait guys," I said getting my Polaroid. Everyone posed for the picture, Jamie kissing Trinity on the cheek and Sam kissing mine. I took the picture and showed the others. We had the best day ever, so many laughs. "It's late, I should be getting home," I said. Sam frowned, "Oh okay." I kissed her on the check, "You can walk me home." Sam smiled, "Yay!" Sam and I said goodbye to everyone and then she grabbed my hand. We headed back to my house. It was a very silent walk but it was comfortable silence. We arrived at the apartment, I was about to say goodbye when Sam passionately kissed me. I kissed her back and she kissed me. I slowly broke the kiss, "Goodbye Sammy," I said, kissing her on the cheek. "Goodbye Hazelnut," she smiled as she waved goodbye.
