Chapter 20:

Phil's POV:

Once Hazel had left, Dan flopped on the sofa. I sat next to him, placing my head on his shoulder.
"What did your mum say?" Dan asked, I looked at him looking into his deep brown eyes.
A tear rolled down my cheek. He put his arm around me.
"She said that I wasn't responsible enough to be a dad, she's always been a bit disappointed that I was gay," I stopped, and burst into tears. Dan gave me a massive hug.

"Philip, you'll make an amazing dad! Look how happy you've made Hazel, just by adopting her. We're going to change her life. Your mum will love her! Phil I love you so much, you're the most caring person I've ever met," he said, making me cry even more.
I grabbed him to tight, he hugged me tighter.
"I love you too Daniel," I whispered in his ear. He kissed me on the forehead.
"Everything's going to be fine Phil," he whispered back, I smiled into his shoulder.
I kissed him on the lips, and he kissed me back. We kind of had a mini make out session, not going to lie. I placed my head into his neck and he flinched. I looked at him and he smiled back,
"Not the neck Phil," he moaned.
I smirked at him, "You know you love it."

I replaced my head on his shoulder, he stroked my head and kissed me.

I loved Dan so much, he always knew what to say and when, he always cheers me up, he makes me laugh and he's just amazing. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I must have fallen asleep on him, because I woke up an hour later in the same position.
"Morning Sleeping Beauty," Dan said shocking me a bit.
"What time is it?" I asked, he looked at his phone.
"It's 1am babe," he said kissing my cheek.
"Do you want to go to bed," I asked. He smirked,
"What do you mean?" he asked, I punched him playfully on his arm.
"Dan I'm tired," I moaned. He turned his head away from me,
"Fine Philip, I see how it is."
I kissed on the lips and said, "Night Howell."
I left the living room, running to my bedroom. I got changed and climbed into bed.

I was scared, but I was also excited. At least I had Dan to help me...

I woke up with Dan next to me in bed. I checked the time, it was 10:45; far to early for him. I walked up to the curtains and opened them.
Dan woke up groaning, "Phil! You dick!"
I chuckled and kissed his forehead, and said
"I love you too Daniel."
I got showered and dressed then headed to the living room.

"Morning Phil," Hazel said startling me, I guess I wasn't used to anyone greeting me in the morning.
Hazel was already dressed and in the living room on her phone.
"Morning Hazel, have a good night sleep," I asked sitting down next to her.
"Good thank you, how about you?" she said putting her phone down, smiling at me.
Hazel was so polite.
"I slept fine thanks," I said grabbing my phone. I had a text from Peej, he wanted to meet up today.
When I sat down on the sofa, Dan walked in wearing his pyjamas.
"Morning guys," he said sitting down.
"Morning Dan," Hazel said, I repeated.
"Hey Dan, Peej and Chris wants to meet up today. Wanna go?" I asked sitting next to him. He hesitated and looked at Hazel, then he smiled.
"Sure, do you wanna come Hazel?" he asked, looking at her. She looked terrified. Then nodded.
"I'll text him back then," I said picking up my phone.

To Peej:
Hey Peej, sure we'd love to meet up today. We have something we need to tell you. Tell us a time and place, and we'll be there. -Phil

It only took a few moments till he replied.

From Peej-
Hey Phil, great! Want to meet at the Pub at 1-2? -Peej

I turned to Dan, who was rising from his browsing position, and said,
"The Pub at 1 or 2?"
He replied, "Yeah, that's fine. I whenever is best. I'm going for a shower."
I quickly replied to Peej with...
'That's fine, 2 works with us. See you then! Phil xx'
I turned to Hazel, who looked confused. I asked her,
"Want to meet Peej and Chris?"
She hesitated, "Sure." I gave her a hug,
"They're going to love you," I whispered.
She whispered back, "Thanks Phil."

A little while later, Dan came back wearing his leather T-Shirt making Hazel chuckle.
"Dan, no!" I shouted, like a mum,
"Dan, go get changed."
"Yes, Mother Lester," he frowned, leaving the room.
I faced Hazel and rolled my eyes.
Dan came back wearing one of his normal T-Shirts and said, "Better?" I nodded and said, "Let's go!"

We went on the tube, trying not to loose Hazel. We walked in the Pub and looked for Peej and Chris, they were at the back of the Pub sitting at a massive table. When we approached the table, Chris and Peej looked puzzled.
"Hey guys," I said greeting them.
"Hi guys," Chris said, gesturing for us to sit down. They both looked at Hazel and then at us.

"Oh, this is Hazel. You may have a lot of questions. Let us explain!"
