"See how everything in their world sparkles and shines? Even the people there are as beautiful as the land they inhabit."
"Really brother?"
I nodded and walked further up our side of the border.
The side of light always shined so much brighter than our side.
My side of the border mostly has dark-colored flowers and trees with gray leaves and grass the color of ink.
"Mother used to bring me here so often before she fell ill."
At the mention of mother my sisters' grip of my hand tighten.
Its been over a year since mother fell ill and it was a sensitive subject.
We walked in silence for a few more steps until my sister wanted to stop and pick flowers.
"For mother." She said when I asked why.
She is still blamed herself for mother falling ill.
The sound of the air whizzing was the only warning that something was coming our way.
