Dominic's POV
"You have never even been in love." Or at least Bradford hadn't said anything to anyone about being in love.
"Neither have you. How do you even know if this is love?" Bradford challenged.

"I don't, so unless your going to help me figure this out leave me alone."
Bradford rolled his eyes and said "Stop being so melodramatic."

"Well sorry I guess." I didn't look up as I kept my eyes focused on the white bricks between my head.
"Ok." Bradford rubbed his hands together and took a deep breath. "So you think you're in love with Florence."

"Yes." I groaned.
"You two have only known each other for about half a month."

"Right?" Where was Bradford going with this?
"And you slept with him once."

"Your point?"

Bradford shushed me and went silent for a moment, clearly thinking.
"Maybe you should talk to father."

My head jolted up at this "No! The last person I wanted to know this is father! He will do one of three things. He will not care, he will become angry, or he will try to turn my feelings for Florence into a political tool!"

"Oh you don't know that!" Bradford was giving father to much credit.
I sighed loudly and put my face back into my hands.
"Bradford please leave me be if you can't help." I said sadly.
"Why don't you just talk to Florence?"

I threw my hands up in expiration "Oh yes Bradford! Why don't I just sit him down and ask him if he is in love with me! Why not ask about his dying mother as well! Maybe he will want to tell me some military secrets a long with it!"

Bradford rolled his eyes at my over dramatization. "Asking him if he likes you is not the same as where his father hides his catapults."

"I did ask him and he said he didn't like me!" I threw my hands up and glared at Bradford as I said this.
"Did you ask him or did you make a move then ask him?" Bradford raised one of his eyebrows in question.
"Well. I guess I made a move first."
Bradford clapped his hands together and exclaimed loudly "There's the problem then! Just sit down in a room, no touching and keep a distance and just talk!"

"Florence is avoiding me at all costs!" I responded in sadness.
"Says the boy hiding in the garden." I rolled my eyes and leaned back and looked at the sky that was becoming darker as the sun begun to set.
"Well he also isn't one to talking about his feelings."

"Have you asked about his feeling?"
I pressed my lips together and thought about it.
I hadn't really asked. I asked him once.
"I asked him once and he said he didn't feel the same."

Bradford rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Never make a move then ask about feelings idiot!"

"I'm not an idiot." I retaliated
"You are when it comes to this."

Silence rang through the garden for a few moments until I took a deep breath.

"I'll try to have a normal chat with him ok. Do you know where he is?"
