 He grabbed my hand and went onto one knee.
"My formal apology for almost hitting your sister."
Oh goodness those eyes.
Electric blue and staring at me.
I could feel my knees go weak.
Luckily my voice still worked and my brain went into panic mode.
"Do not touch me! Leave now!"
Another grin showing off perfectly white teeth.
His eyes were sparkling so beautifully.
"Brother I want to go home. I'm scared."
My brain reclaimed basic functions at the frightened voice of my sister and I pushed my sister ahead of me and begun walking away.
"I hope to see you at the ball my family is holding! Unless you truly are a peasant!"
"Leave!" I yelled back and looked over my shoulder.
Grinning with his hands on his hips, sparkling hair, and shocking eyes.
May God help me at this ball.
