"Well if I don't get to see something happen, then I guess ill do the right thing and un cuff you."
"Thank you!" At least he was nice enough to un cuff me.
Instead of a key Bradford used a dagger to pick the lock which meant it took a long time.
What if Dominic walked in?
I wonder how he would react.
Would he yell at Bradford? I didn't want them to fight.
I just want to go home.
To tell my mother about Dominic and how overly touchy he was. For her to smile weakly and tell me that everything will be alright interrupted with a fit of coughs then for her to fall back asleep.
A click happened then Bradford let the handcuffs hit the floor with a clang.
"Thank you." I sat up and Bradford nodded.
"You must be hungry. I'll find a maid."
I was hungry.
Bradford brought in a girl who seemed younger than me.
Her hair was darker like mine, but her skin was just as white as Dominic's.
She must be a mix.
I'm sure you're smart enough to guess what that meant, but I will explain for those that don't understand.
Basically the maid's parents had both been from different kingdoms and had a child. Not illegal, but just seen as odd and taboo.
But I don't have room to talk since I was just handcuffed to another man's bed.
Which wasn't that much of a punishment either.
