Dominic allowed me to sleep and when I woke up it was noon and I had both rooms to myself.
I wanted a bath. I was hurting. I wanted to go back to bed. I wanted to be warm again.
After a few hours of sitting alone and Bradford showed up.
"Well nice to see you're in one piece! Dominic drank way to much last night!"
"Yea I realized." I grumbled.
"So what happened?"
"He stripped off his clothes and slept on the floor." I hope I'm a good liar.
"Really? Well he had some odd marks on his, and it seems you do too." Bradford ran his icy hand on my neck and I jumped and moved out of reach.
There was only one exit in my room and I was in no shape to be running about.
"So how did ya get those marks Florence?" Now Bradford was standing up too.
"None of your business." I said and walked into Dominic's overly white bedroom.
"Well I guess you're right, but Dominic wants an answer. So better make up a good lie!" Bradford was grinning now, but his grin was more cruel and not as playful as Dominic's.
