As I fall I scream and flail my arms. Macey peers over the edge of the cliff. Her joy turns to worry for a split second, then she disappears back into the party. I can't hear my screams or the sounds of the party because of my panic. Glimmer looks over the side of the cliff. When she spots me her face immediately turns to terror. She disappears too. Everything seems like its in slow motion as I'm flipped over in mid-air. I see the rocks below and flail my arms harder and scream louder. I can see the waves hitting the rocks with tremendous force. I feel like time returns to normal speed as I start tumbling around in the air because of the motion from my arms and legs. I start to get my sense of hearing back. I can hear the whoosh of the waves and their crash against the rocks.
I hit the water with my shoulder first. As I plunge through the surface time moves slower than when I was falling. My mouth fills with water and the salt touches my eyes. I shut both and try to moves my limbs, but I don't know how to swim. I feel something the is smooth with jagged edges. I try to push off of it. I end up breaking through the surface again and flail my arms. They splash against the water, but then I am sinking again. As I continue to push my limbs through the jello like liquid I feel a force shove from behind me, but nothing is touching me. I start moving along a path in the water. I start to feel the same smooth objects with jagged edges on my feet and push harder. I take a deep breath as I explode from under the surface my arms flailing again. As I splash the water I start to sink again. When I am under the surface I start to feel a painful heat around my mid-section. I am push forward by the invisible hand again. The heated area of my waist started to itch. I wanted to scratch it but I also wanted to breath again.
Just then my supply of oxygen ends. My arms and legs are weak from all the motion and start to become very heavy as their movement slows. I can't find anything to push off of and I don't have enough strength or swimming ability to reach the surface on my own.
The weight of my limbs seem to double and the thickness of the water becomes too much for my arms and legs to push through. My eyes fall open as my entire body stops moving. The salt does not  sting. I see a pair of muscular arms reach towards me. Then my vision goes black without my eyes closing.
