PART 8

Manik is still holding Nandini by her
shoulder and she is sound asleep
forgetting about the whole world.
She is very close to him putting her head
on his shoulders and putting her left hand
on his heart. And the other hand wrapped
around him by his waist.
Manik didn't want to move as it can
disturb her sleep... So he didn't move not
even a little... Sitting just like that
watching her time to time to make sure
that she won't get disturbed.
Navya was watching him and his concern
for her and smiled and came near him.
" Jeejaji... Aap aise baithe baithe akad
jaayenge... There's nice comfortable
sleeping bags and pillows... Every thing in
the tent and there's also firepits in all the
corners. Take her in the tent and you too
relax..."
Navya whispered very softly to Manik so
that Nandini's sleep will not get disturbed.
"Or if you want you can take her inside in
the room if you want... I've Make
arrangements there also." She added.
Manik smiled. He took a look around and
see that Mukti is sleeping wrapping herself
in a blanket. Dhruv and Aliya were busy in
there chitchat. And Cabir is doing
something with his phone. Navya noticed
his concern and said
" Aap Mukti ki fikar mutt kijiye... Hum
usko bhi tent ke ander pahuncha denge"
"Tum Dhruv ko Bol dou woh le jaayega. "
Manik said very softly.
After making sure that Mukti is also taken
care of. He lift Nandini in his arms by
putting another hand under her knees... He
went inside the tent and adjusted her on
the bed letting her lie down on the pillow.
Her head is still on his left arm. And she is
holding his T shirt very tight like a small
kid not letting it go. He tried to move but
couldn't. He smiled at her innocence and
he himself lied down beside her moving a
little bit away to watch her.
He was admiring her beauty which is void
of makeup right now. Her Hair strands are
all over her face as she didn't comb her
hair after the shower. He very gently put
the strands behind her ears. And observing
each and every part of her face.
She has a beautiful face with a spotless
glowing porcelain like skin...
Her eyes shaped like an almond, framed
with thick curly and dark lashes and a
beauty spot under her left eyebrow...her
Nose very sharp and pointy... And curvy
full luscious lips which is untouched and
ready to be kissed. Manik is mesmerized
by her beauty. He so wanted to take her
lips right there. But he controlled himself.
He bend down and gave a kiss on her
forehead.
She moved in her sleep feeling his touch
and snuggled herself more getting closer
digging Into his chest. He have a wide grin
on his face feeling her heartbeat so calm
next to him. He wrapped his hands around
her pulling her more...and he himself lied
down with the support of the
pillows...covering them with a blanket. He
looked up and thanks to the power up
there who send her in his life...thinking
this he closed his eyes.
Navya went in the house to get something
hot to drink as it is the month of October
the nights are chilly in the outskirts of
Mumbai. Cabir got up and fooled her.
Dhruv settled Mukti in another tent and
came out. He saw Aliya is sitting alone
trying to take the warmth from the bonfire
by forwarding her hands near it. Dhruv
came and sat beside her.
"Did you see Dhruv how Manik is taking
care of Nandini...and how he is so
protective of her...Nandini is so lucky
that...she's gonna get such a caring and
loving husband."
She said.
" Ya I saw that...yeh tou mujhe pata tha ki
Manik is very caring when it comes to his
family and us...but I didn't knew that he's
gonna be such a caring and understanding
Life-Partner. " Dhruv also thought about
it.
" You know what Dhruv even I want a Life-
Partner like him...who cares for me...who
understands me...who protects me from
this harsh world..." Aliya said Dhruv
turning to him
"Will I get someone like him..." Trying to
hear his answer she looked in his
eyes...coz she knew that he has feelings
for her...but he was always hesitant to
accept it...but it's high time now...he
needs to open up...and to her surprise his
response shocked her...as soon as she
expressed her wishes he said
" Main hoon na...main tumhe protect
karunga...from all the odds...tumhari care
karunga...tumhara khayaal rakhunga..."
"Really Dhruv...do you really mean it..."
She asked very excitingly...
Seeing her excitement he realized what he
said...
"I mean...mera matlab hai..." He starts
stammering.
Aliya went very closed to him and side
hugged him putting her head on his
shoulder..
" you don't know since how long I've been
waiting for this...I knew that how you feel
for me...but you never expressed it to
me...you make me so happy today..." She
said holding him tight.
Dhruv felt a little shy but he moved his
hand at the back of her an hold her by her
waist smilingly.
Inside the house Navya was boiling the
milk to make hot chocolate for them...she
was taking out the cups from the cabinet
and setting on the counter top. Cabir
entered the kitchen holding a bowl of
chips. He walked to her and asked.
"Do you need any help..."
"Nai hum kar lenge... Thanks for
asking..." She said giving a smile.
"Waise...you did a good job...arranging
this sleepover...Nandini needed this
break...specially after what happened
with her dad..." Cabir said appritiating
her. He jumped and settled himself on the
counter.
"You don't mind right..." Cabir said
indicating that he sat on the counter.
She said no by shaking her head.
"Hum Nandini ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte
hain...uski khushi ke liye and uski hansi
ke liye...you know Cabir woh bahut bholi
hai...usko duniya ke baare mein kuch bhi
Nahi pata..." Navy said pouring the
chocolate powder In the cups.
" Tum itna care karti ho Nandini ki..."
Cabir asked finishing his chips.
"Hamari Jaan basti hai Nandini mein...woh
humse kuch mahino ki he choti hai...but
Hume aisa lagta hai ki badi behen hone ke
Naate usko protect Karna hamara farz
hai..." Navy answered.
" mujhe tumse kuch poochna hai..." Cabir
asked.
"Haan haan poocho naa..." Navya said.
"Tumne mujhe phone kyun kiya tha...jab
tumhe Manik and Nandini ki situation ke
baare mein pata chala...I mean yahan
Mukti and Aliya bhi thei na than...WHY
ME..."Cabir asked. Navya never expected
this question..But she managed to
"Woh uss din aapne kaha tha na ki aap
Jeejaji ke bahut batakalluf dost hain,
Nandini ro rahi thi...tou Hume uss waqt
kuch aur samajh Nahi Aaya... Hume kisi
bhi tarha Jeejaji Ko yahan bulana tha..."
She took a pause and looked at him...
"Kyun aapko Bura laga Kya..." She asked
"No no ant at all...balki acha laga...I feel
really honored ki you thought of me at that
sensitive moment..." He was trying to read
her face but she is busy in pouring the
milk in the cups.
"But to be frank mujhe ziyada kuch Karne
ki zarurath Nahi padhi... Kyun ki Manik
jab Nandini Ko chod ke nikal tou usse apni
ghalati ka ehsaas ho Gaya... Before even
me trying...he was already coming here..."
Cabir explained everything...
"Waise... Manik and Nandini's ke alaawa
bhi agar tumhe kabhi bhi koi aur help
chahiye tou you can ask me
anytime...bejhijak..." He turned around to
her and says looking into her eyes...
She got shy and start blushing and bend
her face down.
"Acha... Nandini ki dost hone ke alaawa
aur Kya karti ho..." He asked.
" kuch ziyada khaas Nahi... Studies
complete ho chuki hai...kabhi kabhi maa
ke saath salon chale jaate hain..." She
said putting the cups in the serving tray.
"Hamari maa ka bas chale tou woh hamari
shaadi Kara de... Woh tou humne zidd ki
thi ke Nandini ki shaadi hone tak hum
shaadi Nahi karenge..." She said and he
laughed.
"Why are you laughing..." He asked.
"Kuch Nahi... Baki hindustani ladkiyon ki
tarha hum bhi ek ache proposal ka wait
kar rahe hain..." And she laugh a little
more...
"Kyun tum bhi arrange marriage
karogi...koi ladka ya love shuv Nahi hua
kisi se..." Cabir got curios now..
"Koi dhang ka ladka mila hi Nahi abhi
tak..." She was enjoying this
conversation...
"Agar Nandini ki shaadi mein koi ladka
tumhe pasand aajaaye ya tumhare ghar
Waalon Ko pasand aajaaye tou..." He
wants to know her answer.
"Tou kuch Nahi...bas hamari maa pakad
kar hamare bhi phere padwa dengi..."
And she giggled.
" chalo yeh hot chocolate cold ho
jaayega..." She said going out of the
kitchen..
He smiled and follows her..
After finishing there hot chocolate Aliya
went to sleep in Mukti's tent and Cabir's
and Dhruv shared another tent and navy
went in the last one.
