When Nandini came downstairs the mehndi
people already started to apply on the other
girls.
Nyonika came to her and asked
"Beta are you ready for mehndi..."
"Yes mom..." Nandini smiled and answered.
She turned to the girl who was hired to put
mehndi specially to Nandini.
" Chalo dulhan aagayi hai...now you can start
doing it for her..." Nyonika make Nandini sat
on the stage specially made for her with
flowers.
Lots of girls were hired to apply beautiful
designs on the girls and all the other ladies in
the function.
Rishab came with the stereo system and
arranged it in the corner and attached it with
the speakers.
Songs started playing about mehndi.
Mehandi hai rachne waali
Haathon mein gehri laali
Kahein sakhiyaan ab kaliyan
Haathon mein khilne waali hain
Tere man ko, jeevan ko
Nayi kushiyaan milne waali ha
Few of the girls who were waiting for there
turn started to dance on the song.
Upstairs in the room Cabir Dhruv and
Abhimanyu joined Manik and started
chitchatting.
Cabir is trying to convince Manik for the
party he arranged in his house.
"Chal na yaar... Don't be a spoil sport... Tune
kaha ki you don't agree for the bachelor
party... Now it's only us..." Cabir is working
hard to convince him but Manik wants to wait
for Nandini.
" Haan yaar Manik girls tou busy hogayi hai
mehndi lagane mein... Tou hum yahan kyun
bore ho rahe hai..." Added Dhruv.
"Maine apne ghar mein saara arrangements
kar diya hai..." Cabir is trying all he can.
"Abhimanyu ko bhi saath leke chalenge...
Kyun Abhi you want to come right..." He
asked Abhi.
"Yeah I'm in..." Abhi also agreed.
"Waise... Why do you want to sit here and
get bore... Nandini bhi tou nahi hai... She is
also busy... Than what's the reason..." Cabir
asked.
"Koi khaas reason nahi hai I just want to take
some rest that's all..." Manik made an excuse
which was fake Coz he actually wanted to
find his name in her mehndi.
"Anyways... Manik Dadi ne tou tujhe mana
kiya tha na ki haldi ke baad Nandini se nahi
milna... Phir Kya hua... Restriction is
gone..." Dhruv asked him.
"Ya Because of my health... Dadi said I can
stay here... Koi rasam and rule mere health
se badkar nahi hai... So all ok..." Manik
replied.
"Chal na bhaaii kyun itna bhaao kha raha hai
yaar... " Cabir insisted again.
"Theek hai chalte hain... Thodi der wait kar
lete hain... Phir chahlenge..." Manik at last
agreed for coming.
Mehndi laga ke rakhna doli saja ke rakhna
Lene tujhe o gori aayenge tere sajna
Sehra saja ke rakhna chehra chupa ke rakhna
Yeh di ki baat apni dil mein Daba ke rakhna.
Downstairs Nandini was almost done with
her feet design and her hands has been
started. The mehndi girl asked.
"Didi aapke hone waale pati ka naam Kya
hai..."
Nandini shied away from taking his name
which was noticed by Dadi and Nani.
"Bol gudiya tere pati ka naam Kya hai..." Dadi
asked smilingly.
"Arey sharma rahi hai...kyun pareshaan kar
rahe ho isse... Main batati hoon..." Nani was
about to say his name... But Dadi stopped
her.
" tehro pammi... Nandini Ko kehna do..." Dadi
said.
"Haan maa isse kehne dou... Itna sharmaogi
tou kaise chalega..." Nyonika also joined the
chat.
Nandini was blushing like crazy. She bending
down her head very softly whispered in the
girls ear.
"Manik..."
Every body smiled by her shyness.
And all this was witnessed by none other
than Manik and his friends who were coming
downstairs to join the girls. And also to ask
permission to leave for Cabir's house.
Manik was also smiling like crazies seeing
the whole scene of her shyness.
"Aaj ke zamaane mein tujhe itni sharmili aur
itni delicate doll jaisi ladki kaise mil gayi
yaar... Zaroor tune koi punya ka Kaam kiya
hoga..." Cabir started with his teasing and
leg pulling.
"Cabiiir... Ho Gaya Tera... Tou neeche
chalein... " Manik stopped Cabir from
continuing further.
They all came downstairs..
Dadi said.
"Manik puttar tu bhi Kuch lagale apni hatheli
per..."
"Main... Nahi Nahi... I don't want to put
mehndi..." Manik was surprised by this.
"Kuch Nahi hota... Dulha bhi laga sakta hai...
Bilkul ek chott sa design..." Shanno Chachi
added.
Hearing to every body he sat on a chair close
to Nandini and a girl turned to put mehndi on
him.
" Kya lagaon Bhaiyya..." She asked.
"Ek Chota sa heart bana dou aur usme "N"
likh dou..." Manik was looking at Nandini
when he told this.
Nandini was crimson red hearing this from
him but she didn't meet his gaze because she
knows that he's looking at her only..
The girl draws a small heart at the corner of
his palm and wrote the "N" inside it
